My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense. Fatal Response. I'm always thrilled to get one of Jodie's books in the mail. She's one of my favorites. This story is well written action packed and full of faith. I know you are going to love this one.
Firefighter Erin Taylor is at the fire station alone. It's been a long night and she has cleaned and buffed every thing in sight. She is having a restless night. For the last two weeks a dark car would drive into the parking lot. It would shine the headlights into the station, the engine stayed on, and no one ever got out; then it would leave. The random drive-bys poked her creepy-meter a little bit. No one else seemed bothered about it but her. Tonight she heard a noise out back. A little red Mustang comes in hot, a young woman gets out and comes towards Erin saying please don't hurt him. Erin backs up. The dark sedan comes roaring up the driveway and hits the woman. As she's feeling for a pulse, footsteps run up behind her. Oh no her ex-husband!

Warrior by Linda K Rodante

My review today is on the Romantic Suspense, Warrior. This is the seventh book in the Dangerous Series. I have never read any of Linda's books before but I hope to read more of her work. This story really spoke to me as we are in the process of finding a new pastor. Ours has retired and we are believing for a man with vision that will take us to the next level. We are a soul winning church, a small Christian school, and a small group of people that love God. I really appreciated this story. Her trainer asked for ID and she knows the name of the new assistant pastor.
Joshua Corbin has been hired as the assistant pastor. He and his friend has moved into the poor neighborhood. The senior pastor is out of town attending his brother's funeral. The pastor had told him to pick up Katie, she would be able to help him with anything he needed. Josh has spent the last three years on the street ministering to the homeless and gangs. His vision is why the pastor has hired him.  Josh is drawn to the beauty but feels he doesn't have time for a relationship, souls are more important.
Reece Jerigan is Joshua's best friend. He had saved his life three years ago. He came with Josh to  help with Josh's vision. He doesn't feel called to this place but he is called to keep Josh safe and help him. He will stay and help until God shows him what he is called to do. Reece is drawn to the beautiful kickboxer but knows he is unworthy of her. She needs someone like Josh.

Explosive Force by Lynette Eason

My review today is one the Love Inspired Suspense, Explosive Force. This is the sixth book in the continuity series Military K-9 Unit. I have really enjoyed this series and Lynette is one of my favorite authors. This story is well written, action packed, and full of faith. I know you are going to love it.
First Lieutenant Heidi Jenks is a news reporter for CAF News. She is upset about the stories she is being assigned. Most of them are just plain boring; like stolen medals. She would rather be out there working on the Red Rose Killer case. She just finished an interview at the church and was walking home. Speaking her thoughts into her voice activated recorder when she saw someone come out of the K-9 Training Center. The man wore a dark hoodie, he pulled it back and removed a ski mask, then looked right at her. His eyes locked on hers causing ice to flow through her veins, he turned and looked at the center and then took off. Another man came out the door; she yelled "Run Bobby " just as the building exploded. She had a feeling the man would be back, she had seen his face,  this could be the biggest story she ever had.
First Lieutenant Nick Donovan and his partner Annie came on the scene. They were members of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit. They would have to wait awhile before they could investigate. Annie was an explosives detection dog. He was angry when he saw Heidi talking to one of the investigators. He had no use for reporters. She sure didn't waste any time, how did she hear about the explosion so quickly? Why did she look so disheveled? Annie alerted. He bent over to take a sample when Heidi started talking to him. He was shocked to find she was not only involved in the explosion but saw the bomber. As much as he hated reporters he felt he must keep her safe.
A struggle with a cold blooded killer. Can they stay one step ahead of this mad man? God has a plan for these two; a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, a good plan and not for evil.
Give him your heart and watch Him move in your mess.

Killer Country Reunion by Jenna Night

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Killer Country Reunion. This is an excellent book. It is well written, action packed, and full of faith. I know you are going to love it. Jenna is a fairly new author with LIS but she tells an awesome suspense.
Caroline Marsh returns to Idaho after the death of her brother. He has left everything he had to her; his business, his home, and his son. His body had been found floating in Seattle's Elliot Bay, 350 miles away. No suspect were found. She leaves the lawyer's office only to be attacked. She manages to escape the man with a gun several times but he gives chase. She is rescued by the the love of her life who had left her years ago. She assured him she didn't need his help. Who was trying to kill her entire family? Why?
Ex-military Zane Coleman was picking up ranch permits when he heard a woman scream. He runs to help her. He is shocked to see Caroline. He had left her eight years ago. It felt like only yesterday. What has she gotten herself into? How can he convince her to let him help her?
A journey of two hearts that were meant to be together. God has brought them back together at a time when they truly needed each other. God has a plan for them, a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. Give Him your heart and see what He has in store for you.
