My review today is on the Romance, Tragedy & Trust. This is book twelve in the Potter's House Series. I have never read any of Mary's books but I hope to read much more of her work. This story is very inspiring and I really enjoyed it. This book is well written, heart warming, and full of faith. I know you are going to love it.
Chloe Rylin has had a rough life. She had left home after school to make her mark. Instead she was raped by a man she thought was a friend helping her with her career. She became pregnant and gave birth to a baby girl. Ten months later her baby died in a fire at their apartment. Now two years later she is still struggling with her loss. She refuses to love again. She agrees to be the Maid of Honor at her best friend's wedding. Kelsie sets her up with the best man. Chloe knows once Zack knows about her past he won't want her in his life. Besides she could never trust a man again.
Zack Coleman has his own baggage. His brother was killed a couple years ago and he is still struggling with the loss. He tries to help his sister-in-law and his three small nephews as much as he can. His Saint Bernard knocks over a beautiful woman at a building site. The woman turns out to be his best friend's future wife's best friend. He soon realizes they are being set up. He has a hard time getting through all of her walls. He thinks it would be worth the effort to get to know her though.
A journey to survive the attempts of everyone trying to set them up as a couple and letting go of the heartbreaking past. God has a plan for these two, a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. We all seem to carry a lot of baggage but Jesus wants to carry those burdens. Give Him your heart, let go of you burdens, and watch Him turn your life around.
