My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Christmas Hideout. This is the third book in the McCade Law Series. I'm a big fan of Susan's work. I'm always thrill when I get one of her books. This book is no exception. I'm not sure how she keeps coming up with all these awesome stories. This book is well written, action packed, and full of faith. You are going to love this one.
Nicole Dyer wakes to find a picture of herself with a hunting knife through it on her kitchen butcher block. The message was real clear. Nicole takes her three year old daughter and goes on the run. Her ex-boyfriend/stalker is out to kill her. It doesn't help that her ex is a police officer. She finds a deserted cabin out in the middle of no where and moves in. She is soon discovered by the owner who turns out to be a cop too. Can she trust him?
Deputy Sheriff Matt McCade parks his cruiser out of view at the cabin. He has an intruder. The cabin is one of the cabins at the families dude ranch. His intruder turns out to be a beautiful young widow and her three year old daughter. She explains that her ex is out to kill her and her daughter. Matt calls in to verify her information then takes her to the family big house. Ir's soon obvious that now the family is in danger too.
A struggle to keep Nicole and her daughter safe while a mad man is seeking her. They are forced to trust each other and their God. God has a plan for them; a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, a good plan and not for evil. You may not have a stalker but there is an enemy out there trying to steal, kill, and destroy. Give Jesus your heart and watch God move in your life.
