Alaskan Hideout by Sarah Varland

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Alaskan Hideout. I always enjoy Sarah's books and I'm sure you do to. This is an excellent example of her work. This book is well written, action packed, and full of faith. You are going to love it.
Emma Bass witnessed the murder of her boss. She takes her son and runs off to Moose Haven, Alaska knowing the only person who can save her is her ex-boyfriend and the father of her son, Luke. She never told him about her pregnancy and is now fearful of telling him about their son. They no more than arrive when they are pushed off the road into a culvert. Noah, Tyler's brother arrives at the scene and called Tyler for help.
Tyler Dawson arrives to find Emma's already been taken to the hospital but a seven year old boy is in the car. The boy is terrified. He tells Tyler his name is Luke Dawson. He truly is his son. He calms him down and takes him to the hospital. He must get over his anger at Emma  and protect her and their son. Can he be a part of their lives when this is over?
A great journey to protect and keep his family safe. God has a plan for this little family a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, a good plan and not for evil. Give him your heart a watch Him work in your life

Coyote's Revenge by Vannetta Chapman

My review today is on the thriller, Coyote's Revenge. This is the first book in the Defending America Series. This is an awesome book and I know you are going to love it. The book is well written, action packed, and full of adventure. I always enjoy Vannetta's books.
Millionaire Playboy Aiden Lewis is an agent for the USCIS. He is after the top terrorist, Coyote. As he waits for the plane to load up so he can take this evil man down, he sees the man enter with a beautiful young woman. No one knows who she is. When they call to load the plane he is told to stand down. Coyote's cell has taken control the first lady. Aden sits in first class; plants a bug on the girl as she passes by so he can tell what is going on. All is well for part of the flight when suddenly the bug goes off line. A US Marshall observing the back of the plane tells him all is well. Coyote takes the girl to the back. She goes to sleep right after they returns to their seat. When the flight is over she is non-responsive. Aiden goes to her and finds she has been drugged. He takes her to the first class lounge and stays with her.
Madison Hart just lost her mother. On her death bed her mother made her promise to go to Montana for a year to find her father. A man she's never met; a man who doesn't know she exists. Madison was in a terrible plane crash two years ago and has an unnatural fear of flying. A nice older gentle man helped her with her suitcase and now sat beside her. She is uncomfortable with his presence. She asks him to trade places with her; she can't stand the window seat. When they move the man finds the bug. He turns from a gentle, comforting man to an animal. He takes her back; searches her for more bugs and forces her to take a pill. The last thing she remembers is going on the plane until she looks up into the eyes of the gorgeous cowboy she has ever seen. He helps her get to her next flight. He tells her he lives in the city she is going to. He gets a call and has to leave but says he will call her.
An awesome journey of intrigue. These two are drawn to each other but Aiden's leaving suddenly is more than she can handle. God has a plan for these two, a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. You might not have terrorist chasing you all over the world but you do have an enemy that is out to steal, kill, and  destroy but Jesus came that you might have life and have it more abundantly. Give him you heart and watch Him move in your life.

Dangerous Waters by Christy Barritt

My review today is on the Mystery, Dangerous Waters. This is the fourth book in the Lantern Beach Mysteries. I really enjoy Christy's books and I liked this one. This story is well written, action packed and full of adventure. You just have to love it.
Cady Matthews is an under cover cop when she accidentally kills the boss of the gang. She goes into hiding on Lantern Beach until the trial. On Lantern Beach she makes several good friends especially Ty. When a possible man from the gang arrives; Cady (Now Cassidy) is thrown into confusion. Is this man the killer she once knew or someone who looks like him. Is he the one who wants to claim the million dollar hit on her. She must run.
Ex Navy SEAL Ty Chambers falls in love with the beautiful Cassidy. When he finds out she is hiding he assures her that he and their friends will keep her safe. Their friend Mac, an ex-cop helps them as the killer plays games with them.
A journey not only for these two but for several of their friends. God has a plan for them a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, a good plan and not for evil. Give Him your heart and watch Him work in your life.

Unknown Enemy by Janet Sketchley

My review today is on the Mystery, Unknown Enemy. This is book one in A Green Dory Inn Mystery. This book was sent to me to read. I wasn't required to review it.  This book is well written and action packed. I know you are going to enjoy it.
Landon Smith has returned to Lunenburg to help a woman who once helped her when she had been abducted. Anna's neighbor called her and told that she needed to come and help her friend. Landon left her college course and came back for the weekend. Unfortunately the weekend is not enough even if it means she would fail her class she must find out what is going on.. Anna is having trouble with a stalker who was doing all kinds of mischief. The problem is Anna is the only one to ever see the stalker. A grieving widow everyone assumes she is just loosing it. Roy and his grandson Bobby lived next door and are trying to help. Finally Landon finally sees the man and the police believes her. So they begin an investigation.

Lady at Arms by Tamara Leigh

My review today is on the Medieval Romance, Lady at Arms. This is the first book in the Ladies Series. I really enjoyed this book. I can't say enough about Tamara's books. They are all awesome. This book is well written, action packed, humorous, and heart warming. She has woven her faith into this book much like a fine tapestry. You are going to love it.
Lady Lizanne Balmaine is on her way to marry her betrothed. Her brother Gilbert is escorting her when their small group is attacked. Gilbert is cut down and all his men slaughtered. Lizanne was carried off by a huge man with white hair. This man attempts to ravage her, she manages to escape but her betrothed refuses to marry her claiming she is defiled. This causes the death of her father and though her brother survives he is not the same man as he once was. Lizanne takes to arms. She learns how to use a sword, a bow, and other weapons until she is as able as the Knights in her castle. Four years later she is at a neighbor's when she see the man at the table. Lizanne kidnaps the knight and puts him in her dungeon. She finally says she will release him if he will have a duel with one of her men. He agrees until he sees she is the one he must fight until the death. She could have killed him but did not. She lets him go. He returns to abduct her from her castle.
Ranulf Wardieu is on a mission for the king. He is captured by a woman. He is accused of wrongdoing but she doesn't really tell him what he was supposed to have done. He is intrigued by the beautiful woman even though he had no intention of marrying. When he is released; he comes back and takes her with him. He is determined to find out what he has done to her. They play a game of wits as they travel all over the kingdom.
A strange journey to discover what each of the other refuses to share. God has a plan for these two. A plan for a hope and a future. They must forget the past and learn to trust one another. Gabriel's Secret by Alexa Verde

My review today is on the Christmas Mystery Romance, Gabriel's Secret. This is book two in The 12 Mysteries of Christmas. I always enjoy Alexa's books. I was thrilled to get a copy. This story is well written, humorous, and full of twists. I know you are going to love it.
Rookie cop Ava Davis is sent undercover to the Christmas Tyme Hotel, in Christmas Tyme, Colorado. She is investigating a possibility of a notorious thief. This is her first real assignment. She didn't plan on running into her high school friend. She doesn't have time for him distracting her. She must prove to the police and her family that she can do this job. Her family was very upset about her leaving the jewelry business. She soon finds she is being set up not only for the robbery but for a murder.
Security Guard Gabriel Lark has a hard time with his job. He had been a cop in Denver when he had been betrayed. Now he was starting over. He is thrilled to see Ava. He has always cared about her. He never realized just how much. As people invade the hotel trying to cause harm he finds himself in partnership with this beauty. He knows she is innocent. He knows that she is flighty and will probably fly away soon but he can't help how his heart can't live without her.

Cowboy Bodyguard by Dana Mentink

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Cowboy Bodyguard. This is the third book in the Gold Country Cowboys Series. I really enjoy Dana's books. This is an awesome series and I know you are going to love it. The book is well written, action packed, and full of adventure. Faith is interwoven throughout the whole story much like a fine tapestry. This is an awesome read!
Doctor Shannon Livingston is working in the ER when she receives a patient that has fallen down a flight of stairs. The man is alive but just barely. She goes to report his condition to his family but only finds a biker gang. As she speaks to them they threaten the young girl that is with them, Dina. Shannon walks away and is called to another case. Later Dina finds her in the break room carrying a small baby. The men are out looking for her. She needs help. As Shannon is trying to figure out what to do she sees a cop take a bribe from the leader of the gang, the Tides. They sneak out the back door and run. With no one else that she can trust she calls her husband. The man she secretly married seven years ago.
Cowboy Jack Thorn is shocked to get a call from his secret wife. He had finally got over her betrayal and had decided to go ahead with the divorce. Now she needs help. There is nothing to do but rescue her and the small baby she brings with her. She explains the mother is trying to find her brother and they needed to keep the baby safe. He takes her home and explains to his family that she is his wife and has been or seven years. This child is theirs and they need to keep them safe. His family has a hard time accepting the situation especially when a rival gang comes into town as the Tides come to get the child and find Dina.

The Raveling by Tamara Leigh


My review today is on the Medieval Romance, The Raveling. This is the eighth book in the Age of Faith Series. I just love Medieval Romances. I'm really glad I didn't have to live their lives but I do enjoy reading about it. I think I might be addicted to them. This one is well written, action packed and full of faith. I hate to see the series come to an end but I do look forward to the next one. I know you are going to love it.
Sir Elias De Morville is the second son of a noble so he was sent out to foster to become a knight but his heart wasn't in it so he became a troubadour. Now his older brother is dead and he is the heir but his father demands he comes back to their chateau, marry a suitable wife and bare sons. But Sir Elias now a knight and the possessor of the coveted Wulfrith dagger has other plans. He sets out to save a boy that could be his son.  He feels he must prove worthy of the Wulfrith dagger that ranks him among the greatest of knights. The quest becomes much harder when he takes the woman who rescues the foundlings and has become a mother to the boy with him. He is drawn to the mysterious woman from the Abby. He can't let himself fall for this woman who is so wrong for him.
Honore of no surname was left at the Abby as a babe. She was born with a cleft palette and her mother refused to look upon her. Her mouth has been repaired but she is very conscious of the scar so she hides behind a veil. She has dedicated her life to the children that are unwanted and left in the woods for the animal to destroy. When one of her boys is taken and put in a carnival she is determined to rescue the boy. Standing Fast by Maggie K. Black

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Standing Fast. This is the fourth book in the continuity series, Military K-9 Unit. I have really enjoyed this series as the authors are some of my favorites. This book is well written, action packed and full of suspense. I know you are going to love it.
Senior Airmen Chase McLear and his K-9 nine partner are awakened by the screams of his three year old daughter. She has been having nightmares the last couple of weeks. He find her window has been slashed and he sees a man run from the window. He runs outside to try to catch the man but he is long gone. He finds a picture of his daughter made with a macaroni from her preschool. Why would someone target his daughter? As he is searching for the prowler he is  surrounded by the  Air Force Emergency Security team. They have a warrant to search his property for signs of the Red Rose Killer. Someone has reported that he is hidden in Chase's home. They find evidence in his home that the man has been there. Who is setting him up?
Preschool teacher Maisy Lockwood is out jogging early in the morning. She sees someone hiding in the brushes watching the a crime scene. He turns around and has a bandanna over his face; a knife flashes in his hand. She commands him to halt using her backpack as a weapon. With all the police cars and emergency personal he runs off. She moves forward to report the person. Maisy's father was one of the victims killed by the Red Rose Killer. Was this person the killer? Little Allie is one of her students at the preschool. She can't believe that they are accusing Chase of helping this killer. She is determined to help him clear his name.

The Awakening by Tamara Leigh

My review today is on the Medieval Romance, The Awakening. This is book seven in the Age of Faith Series. I have loved this series, in fact it is the only one I have bought. Most of the books I read are sent to me by the authors. This book is well written, heart warming, and full of faith. I really love the way Tamara writes. I know you will love this one too.
Ten years ago Lady Laura became betrothed to the Lord Lothaire. He visited several times and they both fell in love and were thrilled with the upcoming wedding. Childhood friend Simon reminds Laura that she promised to wed him. When she tells him she was but a child he ravished her, beat her, and left her in the basement broken. When Lathaire returns several months later the engagement is broken. He seeks her out at the lake but it is evident that she is with child. Feeling betrayed he left. Laura tells no one but withdraws from life. She allows Simon's mother to raise her daughter. After her grandmother's death her daughter is caught in a situation that causes Laura to awaken. She must help her nine year old daughter before the same thing happens to her. She contacts her cousin Queen Eleanor about finding her a husband.
Baron of Owen, Lord Lothaire Soames was betrayed by his betrothed. He marrys soon, this woman he chose in hopes of saving his lands and his people. But his wife was in love with another. He finds her in the arms of her lover, she then soon dies. His second wife was to save his lands but loved another and the queen had the marriage annulled. Lothaire goes to the Queen to find him a wife to save his lands.
The Queen has her own plans and insists that Laura and Lothaire must marry. The journey of these two is anything but straight. His overbearing mother, a sister that has lost herself in carrying for her mother, and a daughter who has been spoiled cause all kind of dips and bumps along their way. A Debutante for the Rancher by Chloe Carley

My review today is on the Christian Western Romance Novel, A Debutante for the Rancher. It is a part of the Colorado Reborn Series but a stand alone book. This story is well written, heart warming, and full of faith. I know you are going to love it.
Leonie Trowbridge has been sent to England to learn to be a lady and become a debutante for her first season. Her Aunt is determined to marry her off to an Earl or a Duke. Leonie is just having a good time and finds many suitors. She receives a telegram from her brother's foreman telling her that her sister-in-law was gravely ill. She doesn't even think about it but packs up to go home. Her aunt goes with her even though she hates her nephew's wife believes this is a hoax.
Jem McClary has worked as a foreman since before this present owner. He loves the ranch and the family that he works for. When he finds out that pregnant Molly is gravely ill and she and the baby might not make it he feels he must send for Leonie. She would be heartbroken if they kept it from her. After their arrival he messes up. He takes her in his arms and kisses Leonie in front of her formidable aunt and the men of the ranch. Aunt Edwina insists Nate must fire the man. Nate has no choice but to fire Jem. Jem takes off for Denver and then to Leadville to make his fortune so he could be worthy of Leonie.
A tragic journey for all involved as a fire threatens the family and they must run for their lives. Nate stays at home to fight the fire, Molly is still weak and falls a part, Edwina's Dr. takes her baby away, and Jem knows nothing about it as he works as a guard in the mines of Leadville. Fatal Recall by Carol J. Post

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Fatal Recall. Carol is an awesome author. I'm sure you know that. This book is an excellent example of her work. This story is well written, action packed, and full of faith. You are going to love this book.
Police Officer Tanner Brody is on the Nantahala River on vacation when hears gun shots. Eight weeks ago his life imploded. His friend talked him into  moving to Murphy N.C. Killer Country Reunion by Jenna Night

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Killer Country Reunion. This is an excellent book. It is well written, action packed, and full of faith. I know you are going to love it. Jenna is a fairly new author with LIS but she tells an awesome suspense.
Caroline Marsh returns to Idaho after the death of her brother. He has left everything he had to her; his business, his home, and his son. His body had been found floating in Seattle's Elliot Bay, 350 miles away. No suspect were found. She leaves the lawyer's office only to be attacked. She manages to escape the man with a gun several times but he gives chase. She is rescued by the the love of her life who had left her years ago. She assured him she didn't need his help. Who was trying to kill her entire family? Why?
Ex-military Zane Coleman was picking up ranch permits when he heard a woman scream. He runs to help her. He is shocked to see Caroline. He had left her eight years ago. It felt like only yesterday. What has she gotten herself into? How can he convince her to let him help her?
