Cold Case Cover-up by Virginia Vaughan

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Cold Case Cover-up. This is the first book in the Covert Operatives Series. This is an awesome book and I look forward to the next book in the series. This book is well written, action packed, and full of faith. You are going to love it.
Investigative Reporter Dana Lang has come to West Bend, MO to find answers to her birth. She found evidence that she is the baby that was believed to have been murdered thirty years ago along with its mother. She has been investigating a heroic eight man team of CIA-contracted security operatives that rescued eighteen Americans trapped in an embassy. Now she must find answers to her own questions. No sooner than she has arrived she is attacked. Is someone trying to keep her from finding answers? Who is covering up the murders?
Reserve Deputy Quinn Dawson is also a part of the CIA; as part of the Security Operations Abroad. He was a part of the covert rescue but if this reporter find out who he is she will blow his cover and ruin his career. He is sent to her apartment when she is attacked. Can he keep her safe without revealing who he is? How did his grandfather fit into this mess?

Heart Healed by Alexa Verde

My review today is on the Christian Suspense, Heart Healed. This is book 10 in the Potter's House Books Series. These are stories of Hope, Redemption, and Second Chances. I know you are going to love this series. This book is well written, action packed, and full of faith. This is an awesome book and you'll love it.
Country Singer Miriam Lizarraga is unable to sing. She may never sing again. She has left her world and is hiding at her aunt's home. Her aunt was out of the country. She had to figure out what to do with her life now. She can still write music but is that enough? She begins to cut again. She goes down to the beach one night and is drawn to the ocean. She dives in but goes out to far and almost drowns. A man pulls her to safety. She is drawn to him and asks him to come to lunch the next day. Her manager calls and tells her her brother, who had once tried to kill her. just got out of prison. She must hide. She goes on the run literally. Phillip picks her up and helps her.
Phillip Barlow is out jogging when he sees his favorite singing star crush. (Phillip's face is horribly scarred from an accident. Hiding his scars he pours his life into his work and now his boss tells him he has to take a vacation.) He calls out to her but she dives in. Worring about the hard breaking waves he dives in and ends up saving her. She asks him back for lunch. She is a wonderful cook and he is drawn to her but she tells him goodbye. He finds her jogging to a car rental. He offers her protection.

The Shenandoah Road by Lynn Basham Tagwa

My review today is on the Historical Romance, The Shenandoah Road. This is A Novel of the Great Awakening. It takes place in 1744 during Mr. Whitefield's revival. This is a great read. It is well written and full of information about Whitefield Sermons. I know you are going to love it.
John Russell is a widower with a young daughter. His wife was killed by Indians. He leaves his home to visit his father in Philadelphia to find a wife. His father introduces him to his boss' daughter. A very attractive young woman but is she a Christian? Would she be a good mother to his daughter? He courts her, reading Whitefield's sermons to her and explained them to her. She agrees to marriage and they leaves on a journey of several weeks.
Abigail Williams is a well off merchants daughter. She has led a sheltered life. She loves Botany and the sturdy of herbs and medicinals. she's not sure about the man her father has picked out for her. She is thrilled when John brings her a book from an apothecary on herbs and medicinal plants. This is something she can do. She is not much of a homemaker. Can she keep John and his daughter happy when she has always had a housekeeper? She feels very inadequate.  His views on religion is very different from hers. Can she make him happy?

Lady of Conquest by Tamara Leigh

My review today is on the Medieval Romance, Lady of Conquest. This is a stand alone novel. I must say I really enjoyed the book. This story is well written, heat warming, and full of twists and turns. I know you are going to love it.
Saxon Rhiannyn of Etcheverry is caught  in the center of the rebellion of the Saxons and the Norman rule. She has lost all of her family and most of her people. As the Normans take over the rule of Etcheverry Rhiannyn is betrothed to Saxon Edwin. Now Thomas has taken her as his betrothed and Edwin has become a bandit driven to the woods. Rhiannyn tries to escape and a return to Edwin and her people. Thomas is severely wounded. Rhiannyn stays with him and holds him as he dies cursing her. She is taken back to the castle. Soon she escapes again and is saved by a monk the turns out to be Thomas' brother. Why is she drawn to this man when he blames her for his brother's death.
Maxen has dedicated his life to God. He is trying to appease God after all the horror of the war. He is contacted that his brother has been killed and he must avenge his death. He renounces his vows and returns to find a beautiful young woman who claimes to have killed his brother. He couldn't believe this little woman could kill his knighted brother. He is entranced when she doesn't try to seduce him but stands up to him with her all her might. She is selfless and caring toward his people.
A journey of these two thrown together by circumstances. They struggle with the Saxon Edwin and his people, Mazen's family, and the king and his men. God has a plan for these two, a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, give Him your heart and watch Him turn your life around.

The Amish Widow's New Love by Liz Tolsma

My review today is on the Love Inspired book, The Amish Widow's New Love. Liz is a new author for Love Inspired. I really enjoyed this story and I know you are going to love it. The story is well written and heart warming.
Naomi Miller is a young Amish widow. Her bobbeli was born with several birth defects and needs surgery to survive. The community is to have a fund raiser to help with the finances of the community for health issues. The man that is in charge of the sale is injured so her former boyfriend is assigned to help her to organize the fund raiser. Elam had hurt her brother and the whole community when he ran off and left them years ago. Can she trust him?
Elam Yoder caused an accident the left Naomi's brother in a wheel chair for the rest of his life. Elam blamed himself and ran away from his life in the community. How could he ever forgive himself let alone expect other to forgive him. Now he has returned looking for forgiveness. He has always loved Naomi and is determined to help her get the finances she needs for her son's survival. No matter how hard he works he can't seem to find his place in the community. He longs for a new start with Naomi and her son.

Hidden by Vanetta Chapman

My review today is on the thriller, Hidden. This is book one in the Jacob's Family Series. I really enjoy Vanetta's books. I love her characters, they seem so real. This story is well written, action packed, and full of intrigue. I know you are going to love it.
Dana Jacob is the commander of a team of Homeland Security Agents.  They have a small office in Taos, New Mexico. They keep a low profile when working in the area. Dana is trying to make up for her traumatic childhood. When a new explosive operator arrives she finds herself attracted to him but with her past she can never trust a man or give him her heart. As they are under attack she turns to him for help.
Ex-Military Agent Ben Marshall shows up to the Office of Homeland Security. Time stopped when he met Dana Jacobs. Once he took her hand the world around him came to life. He has never been drawn to a woman like this one. He is sure God has brought him to Taos. Later when he finds she no longer trusts God he decides that is why he has been brought here. When they are under attack he is determined to keep her safe.

Texas Baby Pursuit by Margaret Daley

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Texas Baby Pursuit. This is the fourth book in the Lone Star Justice Series. I don't have to tell you how awesome Margaret's books are. She is one of my favorites. This book is well written, fast paced, and action packed. Faith is also woven into the story like a fine tapestry. You will also find it heartwarming and inspirational.
Texas Ranger Dallas Sanders finds his baby nephew has been kidnapped. He must find out where he is and who stole him. His only hope is to team up with the local sheriff. What they find is a baby trafficking ring working right there in their region.
Sheriff Rachel Young is a single mother of a beautiful baby girl. She can't imagine having her child stolen so she sets out to help the ranger find his nephew. As they discover the wide range of the trafficking she fears for her own child. They must find these monsters.
A journey to find the baby, the abductors, and all the other children that have been taken. They find they must trust each other and trust God to show them the way. Cold Fear by Susan Sleeman

My review today is on the thriller, Cold Fear. This is the fifth book in the Cold Harbor Series. This book is awesome! I have really enjoyed this series and each one that comes out I think this one is the best. This story is well written, fast paced, and action packed. I know you are going to love it.
Singer Leah Kent is being stalked. The threats are getting more dangerous. Not knowing what else to do she calls her old boyfriend. They had once been a singer/writer team but she left him behind and went on with her career. Riley joined the military and is now in Blackwell Tactical, a law enforcement  agency. How can she allow Riley in her life again after keeping their son a secret all these years. The first night Riley finds her leaning over a dead body covered in blood. After more bodies show up they realize someone is setting her up.
Ex-military Riley Glen was severely wounded and is now a part of the Blackwell family. They are the family he has always dreamed of. When Leah calls and asks for help there is no thought about whether he should go to help her. Bodies start showing up and Leah is framed for their deaths. How can he keep her safe? He soon meets his son, a son he never knew existed. Leah explains why she didn't tell him. Somehow he must keep her and his son safe and clear her name.

Rescue Operation by Lenora Worth

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Rescue Operation. This is the fifth book in the continuity series, Military K-9 Unit. I have really enjoyed this series but of course I would; they are all of my favorite authors. This story is well written, action packed, and full of faith. I know you are going to love it.
Senior Airman Ava Esposito is rappelling from a helo with her canine partner. They are out searching for a seven year old boy that was abducted from his own back yard. Suddenly they were being shot at. She refused to abort the mission. when she lands she find herself face to face with the Red Rose Killer. For some reason known only to him he disappears into the woods saying "I'm not here to hurt you, tell your man to back off. Pretend you never saw me." Why would he do that? Why won't the FBI guy she calls believe her?
FBI Agent Oliver Davidson is on the trail of the serial killer. He had a hard time believing the killer would meet her face to face and not harm her. His investigation seems to overlap the search and rescue of the young boy. He keeps meeting Ava and her partner, it only makes sense to join forces. He feels he must help keep her and the boy safe.
A journey to find the missing boy and the serial killer while staying out of the cross-hairs of the killer and whoever is helping him. God has a plan for these two, a good plan and not for evil. The Wedding Quilt Bride by Marta Perry

My review today is on the Love Inspired, The Wedding Quilt. This is the second book in the Brides of Lost Creek Series. Marta does such an excellent job on Amish stories. This book is well written, heart warming, and full of faith. You are going to love this one.
Widow Rebecca Mast returns to her families home. Her marriage had been a struggle. She and her son were going to start over. She's determined to be independent and not lean on anyone not even her family. Her dream is to start a quilt shop so she can support herself and her son. She contacts a childhood friend to do the carpentry work. Her brother-in-law refuses to pay for the farm he bought from her now her dream is dead too.
Daniel King is a carpenter. He is thrilled to be able to help Rebecca who was once his best friend. She and her son have obviously been deeply hurt. He wants to protect her and the boy. She soon notifies him she is unable to pay him so he must stop his work. Daniel manages to talk her into letting him continue. He didn't realize that in working for her he would lose his heart. Can he show her to trust again and lean on God and her family?

My review today is on the Love Inspired, A Baby for the Doctor. I haven't read any of Stephanie's books before but I did really enjoy it. This book is well written, inspiring, and full of faith. I know you are going to love it.
Equine Therapist Jordan Conley and her twin sister were raised in foster care. Now Claire and her husband are raising eight kids; some foster kids, some adopted kids, and some their own including one on the way. Her home is filled so when they called with a new little three year old boy to foster Jordan steps up to raise him. Because of the abuse that Levi suffered he is in need of a special pediatrician. Jordan turned to her handsome brother-in-law for help.
Dr. Ash Sheehan is a cancer survivor with some health issues due to his treatments. He had lost his best friend in high school to cancer. He has dedicated his life to save children ever since. He is also determined not to love so he will never hurt like that again. Little Levi needed a lot of care but unfortunately it also means he is constantly with the beautiful Jordan. How is he suppose to keep his heart safe with her and little Levi in front of him reminding him of his dreams as a young man.

Lady of Eve by Tamara Leigh

My review today is on the Medieval Romance, Lady of Eve. This is the second book in the Ladies Series. I really enjoyed this series but this is my favorite of the two. I love Tamara books and have a really hard time putting them down. This book is well written, heartwarming, and full of intriguing twists. You will love this one.
Lady Graeye Charwyck has been sent to a convent. She was born with a birthmark on her cheek. Her father believed it was a curse from the devil, so he sent her away at the death of her mother. On the eve of her wedding to Jesus they receive a summons commanding she return to the  castle. Her father locks her in the chapel with her brother's rotting corpse to pray him into heaven. When she is let out the next morning her father tells her she is to marry a knight to give him an heir. The king's men arrive to tell her father that the king is taking away the castle and giving it to his son's killer. Desperate to keep from going back to the convent she set out to the pond in the woods to pray. When a man comes to the pond to wash she decides to lose her virtue by sleeping with this stranger. Now she would be unfit to be a bride of Christ's.
Baron Gilbert Balmaine is determined to destroy the house of Charwyck. The king has given him the castle.
