The Chronicles of Storm Eagle by Shawn Lewis

My review today is the thriller, The Chronicles of Storm Eagle. This is and exciting book of military adventures. It's well written, action packed, and full of faith. It might be a little hard to believe that the characters were actually able to do all of the feats but it was a great read.
Ben and Keith Bryant are cleaning the old family house and find a journal written by one of their ancestors. They take the book and begin to read the adventures that they had never heard of; Michael Bryant. He tells of how he is recruited by the Air Force and recruited by Memphis Maulers football team. He leads a double life and goes on great adventures as Storm Eagle. Soon  he has a team of two other people their team is on great demand as they are so effective. The team then expands to five people soon and they travel all over the world. During their time together Michael falls in love with one of his team mates, Amy.
This is a great read and I know that you are going to love it. God has a plan for this team as they go around the world rescuing people and stopping the terrorists. God has a plan for you too, a plan for a hope and a future. Give Him your heart and make Him Lord and watch Him move in your life. We might not go all over the world and fight terrorists but we do have an enemy that is out the to steal, kill, and destroy. God will make a way where there seems to be no way.

The Pendleton Secret by Agnes Forest

My review today is on the Historical Romance, The Pendleton Secret. I've never read any of Agnes' work before. I did find it confusing at first because she writes in the first person but switches from Catherine to Lloyd all the time but I did like the story line. It is well written and full of intrigue. I'm sure you are going to like it.
Catherine Pendleton's older sister is to go be a governess, she doesn't seem to care that their parents are about to lose everything. Catherine carries the family secret that threatens to destroy not only her happiness but that of her entire family as well. A beautiful girl, she feels desperate that they are  running out of time.
Lloyd Toliver is an outsider and sees Pendleton Manor as such. His eyes are opened and he sees it for what is really going on. It was an awakening indeed, and yet he feels a hunger he has never known before. He  now knows what kind of man he wants to be; is he already too late.
A journey of two desperate people trying to find a way to survive in a world of lies and intrigues. God has a plan for these two, a plan for good and not for evil. God has a plan for you too. Give Him your heart and watch Him move in your life.

Mail Order Bride: A Saloon Girl's Tale by Leah Laurens

My review today is on the Historical Romance, Mail Order Bride: A Saloon Girl's Tale. This is the last book in the Mail Order Montana Series. This is an unusual book as they don't usually use a saloon girl as the main character. The story is well written and the characters have some serious issues throughout the story. I'm sure you will like it.
Alice is a saloon girl. She refuses to go upstairs to please the customers but her boss has decided after all these years that if she wants to keep her job she'll have to go upstairs with one of his regulars. She refuses and walks out. She had met a good man at the wedding of her friend. He had danced with her all night and written to her a couple of times after she had come home. She hadn't answered him but saw his ad for a mail order bride from him and this time she sent a letter telling him she would marry him. She had to keep her secret from him.
Henry Ackerman had really been attracted to Alice but she hadn't answered his letters so he sent an ad to the paper. He was shocked when she responded. She was so beautiful. Things started to go all wrong soon after the wedding. He knew she was keeping things from him but all he got from her was lies. Finally she tells him about the saloon but he refuses to believe her innocence so she runs off. What was he suppose to do? She made her choice.
A journey of forgiveness, love, and trust.
