Adoration by Olivia Rea

My review today is on the Medieval Romance, Adoration. This is book five in the Sword and the Cross Chronicles. I can't tell you how much I have enjoyed this series. I can't believe I'm going to have to wait a long time for the next one. I really enjoy the way Olivia writes her stories. I liked Darrin when he was but a thief in the forest. He was much like Robin Hood. Now to learn he was really a noble who had been betrayed by the woman he loved. This book is well written, full of action, and all kinds of twists. You are going to love it.
Sir Darrin de Longue was a noble who was accused of killing his father. What hurt the most was the woman he loved testified against him. He fled to England and lived in the forest. He became a thief and had many men under his command. When his best friend married (book four) he decided to return to France with King Richard. The king had promised to restore his home Chateau du Vent Doux. The king is injured and he calls for Darrin. He confesses that Faith de Saint-Marie is his legitimate daughter. To receive his home Darrin must marry Faith (the woman who had betrayed him) and get her with child within the first year. Then he must give her the chance to become queen if she so desired. The king then dies. Darrin goes home to take over his heart full of bitterness and anger. He throws out his uncle who he believes really killed his father. He marries the woman he has come to hate as much as he once loved. Now to seek vengeance over them all
Faith de Saint-Marie had been brought to the Chateau when she was but four. She never knew her parents but had been left at a convent. A nun had come with her to the Chateau and took care of her. She and Darrin had played as children and she has loved him since she was but a child. She was forced to testify against Darrin by his uncle who would kill the nun if she refused. Now the uncle is forced to leave and Faith is married to Darrin his first night at home. She refuses to sleep with him since he is an unbeliever. She finally makes a deal with him if he will go to the daily prayers for one month she will become his wife.
Something is going on in the Chateau. Sheep being stolen, animals being slaughtered, and Darrin stabbed in the back. Who was trying to destroy the Chateau or run Darrin off. This is a struggle of two heartbroken souls brought together by a king trying to make sure his child would have the chance he wanted for her. They must learn to trust each other as the attacks keep coming. God has a plan for these two, a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, a good plan and not for evil. Give Him your life and let Him do something with it.

Secret Past by Sharee Stover

This week I'm going to write a review each day. I have had so many requests for reviews that I'm way behind on my Love Inspired Suspense books. These are April's books so I might have to review one every day next week too.
My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Secret Past. This is Sharee's first book for LIS. It's an excellent book and I know you are going to enjoy it. This book is well written, action packed and full of faith. I really look forward to her next book.
Katie Tribani has been in witness protection most of her life but she has been unaware of it. Her mother has just died and Katie wrote an obituary with her mom's picture and put it in the Gazette. Her Uncle Nick is furious with her, "You don't know what kind of danger you've put yourself in"
Katie is then told she is in witness protection. Her father is a crime-lord who is trying to kill her mother and take her. They no more than tell her when they are attacked and must run for their lives. Uncle Nick, (A U.S. Marshall) stays behind to help protect her and the U.S. Marshall that had come to help her flee.
U.S. Marshal Daniel Knight takes her on the run. They have a safe house set up but when they arrive there they are again attacked. So they run. They are soon captured and held by her crime family. How can he keep her safe in the heart of the enemy? How can he protect her when she has already stolen his heart?
This is a journey to find out who Katie really is. Who is trying to kill her? Can she trust anyone including the marshal she doesn't know but is attracted to him. God has a plan for these two, a good plan and not for evil. God has a plan for you too, a plan for a hope and a future. Give Him your heart and watch Him move in your life.

Revelation by Olivia Rae

My review today is on the Medieval Romance, Revelation. This is the second book of the Sword and Cross Chronicles. This book was sent to me by the author. I really like her work. This is an awesome book and I know you will love it. This book is well written, intriguing, and well researched. You need to get a copy right a way.
Brother Julian de Maury is a member of the Order of the Templars. He is a devout Christian. He's been in the Crusade to the Holyland for ten years and is known as God's Avenging Angel. King Richard comes to meet Brother Julian to send him on a special mission. Julian is thrilled until he finds he is to escort the king's brother's niece to England, She is to marry a Frenchman to bring peace. The girl had been captured by the Moslims years ago. She has been raised to be an infidel. Julian is upset. All he wanted is to take Jerusalem. The girl is filthy and has nothing to wear but rags. She is vicious and makes every attempt to escape. How is he to care for her and keep her safe? He has never been attracted to a woman until she is forced into his life. How could his body betray him like this?
Lady Ariane has been living with the infidels the last ten years. She was forced to learn the Moslem religion. She is now captured by the Christian butchers. They are to take her to England and then to France to marry a man she doesn't know. She isn't about to let that happen. The man in charge is the man who once killed her nurse, the only woman who had ever cared for her. She wouldn't fall for his lies. She hid the fact that she spoke English. Her secret is a tool she can use against them. Why did the man have to be so beautiful?
A journey that changed both of their lives. God has a plan for these two. Not the plan that either of these two had in mind; a good plan and not for evil. God has a plan for you too; a plan for a hope and a future. God is so good. Let Him move in your life today.
