Christmas Up in Flames by Lisa Harris

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Christmas Up in Flames. I really enjoy Lisa's books and I'm always glad to get one in the mail. This story is well written, action packed and full of drama. I know you are going to love it.

Fire Inspector Claire Holiday is sent to her ex's home town to investigate a serial arsonist. Her first night in town the bed and breakfast is set on fire and she is almost killed. She is rescued by her ex. They soon find out that it was intentional. Someone wants to kill her. What would happen to her son if she were to die?

Firefighter Reid O'Callaghan (her son's secret father) rescues Claire. He is surprised to find the woman he had left years ago. The one woman he hadn't been able to forget. Now he has to work with her to find a serial arsonist. Can he keep her safe without losing his heart again?

A journey to find an arsonist and keep themselves safe. Two brokenhearted souls are forced together in their investigation. God has a plan for a second chance for these His children. Night Hawk by Susan Sleeman

 My review today is on the Romantic Suspense, Night Hawk. This is book three in the Night Hawk Security Series. I love Susan's books and I'm thrilled when I receive one in the mail or on line. This book is truly awesome. I'm not sure how Susan can keep coming up with new stories and new plots. This story is well written, action packed, and full of drama. Faith as always is an important part of her work.

FBI Agent  Tony Long is sent a note to come to the old high school to a janitor's closet. When she arrives in the dark she hears a rattle and is paralyzed. She can't move. She is rescued by a man she had worked with on an op when her father was killed. He and his family come to help investigate what is going down.

Former ICE Agent, now Nighthawk Security Partner Clay Byrd receives a note telling him to come to the janitor's closet in the old high school. There he hears a blood curdling scream. He continues on to the closet only to be locked in. Tony is the woman who screamed. How could he help her when it was his fault her father died. He contacts his fellow workers and his brother only to have him laugh at him. He'll never live this down. As friends and family help examine the old high school they find a dead body. The security team must find out who is after Tony and him. He can't let her down again.

Christmas Protection Detail by Terri Reed

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Christmas Protection Detail. Terri is one of my favorite LIS authors. I'm always excited when I get one of her books in the mail. This book is well written, action packed, and full of drama. I really liked the characters. I know you'll love it.

Deputy Kaitlyn Lanz is decorating for a Christmas party and retirement party combination for her boss when she almost falls off the ladder and is rescued by the one who caused the slip in the first place. Nick is the bane of her existence. His sole mission seems to be to annoy her. Suddenly he comes to her for help. Can they find this woman that's in trouble. Who is she to Nick? Is the baby his?

Nick Delaney is the youngest son of the Delaney billionaire. He was once a player but has changed his ways. He just can't seem to convince Kaitlyn of that. He is at the party when he receives a call from a woman telling him she is on her way to him. He hears gunshots, a bloodcurdling scream, and then metal crunching. He goes to Kaitlyn for help to find her. What they find is a girl he once knew being attacked. Two men are carrying her off. They drop her and start shooting when they pull up. Nick calls the sheriff for back up. The men escape. The woman is alive and asks him to keep her safe then passes out. They find a baby in the back seat. It's soon obvious someone is after them. The woman dies and he is determined to keep the baby safe. Can they keep the baby safe without loosing their own lives.

Angel Mountain Christmas by Laurie LeClair

 My review today is on the Christian Romance, Angel Mountain Christmas. This is a collection of two stories. They are well written, humorous, and heart warming. I know you are going to love them.

The Heart Remembers

This story is about Gabriel Angle. Gabriel has lost his wife and all hope for the future. He is now running the Angel Tree Christmas Farm. He hides as much as he can and still run the farm. He hates Christmas and he hates people until he receives a call from a little boy asking him if he is an angel. This call, small boy, his mother Holly and the angels changes his world.

The Gift of Hope

Adam Doyle calls Angel Mountain home. He has never wanted to be any where else but there have been so many changes. So many people have left and he feared for his hometown. He needed to find away to change things back. He goes to the diner and orders the special again. Becca gives him a hard time. At least the meal that showed up at his table was something he liked. He can't ever let anyone in town know he can't read. Becca (his secret crush) is in trouble. Her vehicle breaks down at the base of the mountain. He must rescue her and her precious daughter. He find she has nothing. How can he help her?

Alaskan Christmas Target by Sharon Dunn

 My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Alaskan Christmas Target. Sharon is one of my favorite authors for LIS. I'm always excited when I get one of her books in the mail. This story is amazing and I know you are going to love it. It's well written, full of action, and you will love her characters. Faith is a major part of this book.

Natasha Hale is in Witness Protection. She works in a dinner as a waitress. She is upset to see the violent ex-husband of the owner's daughter pull up haphazardly in the parking lot. The man is obviously high; He has come to take his son. He takes Natasha to drive. She ends up rescuing the boy along with the help of a state trooper. Her face is splashed all over the news and her cover is blown. Now the Mafia would find her.

Alaska State Trooper Landon Defries answers the call for the kidnapping. He is amazed at the way the waitress takes the man down. He helps the waitress and child but they are met with a media frenzy when they return. The waitress panics. He sees her drive off at the back of the diner. What is going on with her? Is she running from an abusive boyfriend or the law?

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Deadly Amish Reunion. This the ninth book in An Amish Country Justice Romance. I've really enjoyed this series. I think Dana is a wonderful author and I'm always thrilled to get one of her books in the mail. This one is well written, action packed, and full of faith. I know you are going to love it.

The Peaceful Valley Wounded Soldiers Anthology by J. Carol Nemeth

 My review today is on the Christian Romance, The Peaceful Valley Wounded Soldiers Anthology. This is book contains five short stories. The stories are well written and will touch your heart. Soldiers have such a hard time returning back to their own lives but it is so much worse when they are wounded. I come from a military family. My father was in World War II, my husband was in Vietnam, my brothers were in the Navy and served through Desert Storm, my son was in the Air Force Special Forces in the Middle East, and my grandson was in the Marines. These stories tell a little about what the men and women go through.

True Blue K-9 Unit: Brooklyn Christmas by Laura Scott and Maggie K. Black

 My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, True Blue K-9 Unit: Brooklyn Christmas. I have so enjoyed this series and even though the basic series is over I did enjoy these two stories. They are written by two of my favorite authors. They are both well written, action packed, and full of faith. I know you are going to love this book.

Holiday Stalker by Laura Scott

Eden Chang is the unit's IT tech. She is on her way home when she finds she is being stalked. She hurries down to the subway when a man in a mask tries to stab her in the abdomen. Thankfully she always carries her laptop under her coat and is fine when the knife hits the computer. She calls for help and a K-9 cop steps up and helps her. Why did it have to be Max?

K-9 officer Max Santelli and his partner come to rescue Eden. Eden is obviously in trouble. Max is going to keep her safe no matter what. He must ignore his attraction to the tech beauty.

Gift Wrapped Danger by Maggie K. Black

K-9 Officer Neolle Orton and her partner are at the mall looking for smuggled drugs. Liberty alerts and takes her to The Jolly Family Charity Christmas Giveaway. She alerts on a pair of boots a little boy is wearing. That leads her to a van for the Jolly Family Toys. She commandeers a vehicle only to find Adam Jolly. He insists on driving as they chase the van.

Army Veteran Adam Jolly is home due to an injury. He is about to take after the men who injured his employee and stole his van when the beautiful cop tries to commandeer his pick up. Quentin was injured. He has his GPS so he can track him. They take off after the van.

Wishes on Mistletoe Mountain by Dora Hiers

 My review today is on the Christian Romance, Wishes on Mistletoe Mountain. I don't think I have ever read any of Dora's books before but I did really enjoy this one. I hope to read more of her work.  This book is well written, humorous, and heart warming. I know you are going to love it.

Chase Kirkland is the owner of the Wishes Resort. He had worked there as a young teen and has never left. He had slowly bought his way into it and now is the owner. His chef is expecting a baby and he must find a replacement. He goes slowly by Camille's home. She was the love of his life but her father had sent her away when he had found them in a compromising position. A light is on and smoke is in the chimney. He goes in to see what is going on only to be hit in the head by a frying pan. Camille is back!

Camille Tulane was sent away from Mistletoe Mountain by her father. He sent her to Italy to culinary school. She never heard from Chase so she stayed there. Now she has come back to figure out what to answer the man who wants to marry her. Is she over Chase? Can she give her heart to another? She takes the job of chef temporarily. She must figure this out.
