Cold Pursuit by Susan Sleeman

My review today is on the Romantic Suspense, Cold Pursuit. This is the sixth book in A Cold Harbor Novel Series. I was thrilled to get this book. I so enjoy all of Susan's books. This series has been special. I know you feel that way too. I'm not sure how Susan keeps coming up with new idea's and plots but she is an awesome author. This story is well written, action packed, and full of intrigue. Faith is a vital part of each of her stories. It is an awesome story and I know you will love it.
Whitney Rochester is attacked by her brother-in-law just a few feet from the hospital where she works. Percy had been arrested after killing his wife but he has broken out of jail. He plans to kill her and take his two children and run. She plans to keep him from doing that.  A car pulls up and she is released. A huge man overtakes Percy and she runs. She takes the kids and moves to a resort where she waits tables. A man harasses her at work;  another man tries to come to her aid, only makes things worse for her. She leaves work. A man next to her on the porch is shot and she runs. Has Percy found her? How will she keep the kids safe. An avalanche buries her car and she is trapped; not only is she trapped but the man who tried to help her thinks she killed the man. She finds he is part of a security company; will he protect her and the kids?
Blackwell Tactical Team Member Alex Hamilton is blown away when he see the waitress, Whitney. She is so beautiful. Alex is working undercover. He and Sam are tracking a gun runner but when their suspect gets physical with the waitress he feels he must help her. He makes a mess of everything  and she leaves, when he hears a gun shot and thinks it she been shot he looses it. They soon find that Whitney and the kids are in danger.
A journey of two broken souls traveling through avalanches, blizzards and shoot outs. Can they learn to trust one another? Can they trust God to get them out of the mess they are in. God has a plan for them; a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. You might not have men trying to kill you but you do have an enemy who is out to steal, kill, and destroy you. God will make a way when there seems to be no way. Give Him your heart and watch Him work in your life.
