His Substitute Wife by Dorothy Clark

My review today is on the Love Inspired Historical, His Substitute Wife. This is the first book in the Stand-In Brides Series. This book is well written and heart warming. I know you will really enjoy it.

Audrey  Prescott knows what it is to plan to marry and be left at the alter so when her sister runs off and marries another Audrey goes out of Wyoming to marry the man her sister left high and dry. She has been writing to him in her sister's place and the last letter tells of how he has signed a contract that he must marry within thirty days of opening his new store. Since there is little time left for him she takes the ticket and comes to take her sister's place. When she arrives everything has been special ordered for her sister's taste. How is she going to live this way?

Blake Latherop came to Wyoming to build a life for his family. Linda had promised to come as soon as the home was finished. Now it was ready, he sends for her, but her sister comes in her place. He is heart broken by Linda's betrayal. He finally agrees to marry Audrey to save his inheritance. Audrey is nothing like her sister.

Wolf Creek Father by Penny Richards

My review today is on the Love Inspired Historical, Wolf Creek Father. This is the third book in Penny's Wolf Creek series. I enjoyed this book very much. I might have to get those first two book because I really liked her writing. This book is very humorous, well written, and heart warming. I know you are going to love it. It will make you laugh and it will make you cry and it was very hard to put it down.

Sheriff Cole Garrett has two children that are out of control. He knows it and so does the entire town. He needs a wife but they have run off every woman he has shown interest in. His children attack the spinster school teacher; his son pushes her down and his daughter steps on her glasses and her new hat. This feisty little red head barges into his office and screamed at him. His natural reaction was to scream back at her. After she leaves he goes to find his children and have a talk with them. After his talk and their apology to their teacher he makes a list of all the eligible women in town putting Allison on the bottom of the list. When the mayor hears of the whole situation Cole finds his job on the line.

Schoolteacher Allison Grainger has moved to Wolf Creek to teach. She loves the little town and has no desire to leave except when she thinks about having the Garrett kids for another year. She is content to be a spinster. She is not like her beautiful sisters. Her one time best friend that she believed she would marry took off and married another. She was now content to teach other people's children and live a quiet life. After her attack and her loosing her temper with the sheriff she finds her job in jeopardy. She sets out to help these poor motherless children.

A journey of several people with self esteem issues; Allison thinks shes fat and homely, Cole sees himself as a failure with his family, Brady, Cole's son, can't read and fears he is stupid, and Cilla is determined no one is going to hurt her brother. Concealed Identity by Jessica R. Patch

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Concealed Identity. I do so enjoy Jessica's work so I was glad to receive this book. It's well written, action packed, and full of adventure. I know you're going to love this one.

Widow Blair Sullivan was now living with her sister in a small town. Her late husband had turned out to be the brother of a drug lord but she hadn't told anyone about her past. She now owned a little shop down town and filled it with odds and ends that she bought at auctions and estate sales. She and her sister attended an auction for a storage unit. Usually one of the men in town would outbid her but today he wasn't there and she won the stuff. She couldn't wait to see what all was in the truck. As she's driving home someone tries to run her off the road. She pulls out her gun and tries to fight them off but still ends up off the road. Could these men be from her past? They break into her barn, her home and her shop What are they looking for? There new neighbor comes to their rescue and tries to help them.

DEA Agent Holt McKnight is undercover is investigating a missing informant. His guy's sisters are now his neighbor and it's his job to get close to Blair and find out if she knows anything about what is going on. Does her brother's and one of his best agents disappearance have anything to do with her deceased husband's brother? Is she involved with a drug ring? But he soon finds she is under attack and he's the only one that is going to be able to help her.

Big Sky Showdown by Sharon Dunn

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Big Sky Showdown. I don't know about you all but I'm always thrilled to see one of Sharon's book arrive. I love her work, she writes awesome adventure stories. This book is well written, action packed, and full of twists and turns. You will love her characters.

All though this is a tremendous love story it's also a story of two orphaned brothers. They were found in the wilderness by a hard survivalist, Willis, that ruled his men and boys by fear and punishment. One brother Zane Scofield broke away and was mentored by a man, Stephan who trained him with time, love, and spiritual guidance. After Stephan's death he left his business to his estranged daughter with the caveat that she take his ashes to the top of the mountain and spread them out. Zane is not happy about his job of guiding a spoiled ungrateful girl up a mountain. She has nothing good to say about the man that saved his life. He soon finds out that his past has caught up with him. Can he protect the girl and still find out what has happened to his brother?

Heather Jacobs is a personal trainer she comes to Montana to fulfill her late father's request. she would pour out his ashes, sell his business, and fly home again. Quick and easy, right? It's not like she even knew the man, only the horrible things her mother had told her about him. Zane went off to hunt and left her alone only to be attacked by a couple of young boys. Heather is a city girl from California how is she going to go up against these survivalist. Zane returns to help but they a set out on a chase for their lives. Zane's brother, Jordan seems to be one of the men that is out to kidnap them. Can they possibly trust Jordan or can they help him find his way.

Dead Run by Jodie Bailey

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Dead Run. I really enjoy Jodie's books she writes a great suspense story and I know you are going to love this one. This story is well written, action packed, and full of twists and turns.

Personal trainer Kristin James is out for her morning run. She is preparing for a marathon. On a deserted point of the trail she is attacked. Her neighbor and his running partner tries to help her but she already has the man handled but before the attacker runs off he tells her he needs to talk to her about her brother. Her brother was killed recently and she couldn't think of any good reason a man would want to talk about him. Although her brother had always been in some kind of trouble.

Sergeant First Class Lucas Murphy tries to help Kristin but she took the man out. Lucas runs off after him but was unable to catch him. She brushes off the attack but he is determined to keep her safe. When he learns who her brother was he is even more concerned. This man was mixed up in a smuggling ring he was investigating. How can he keep her safe, do his job, and not fall in love with her?

Undercover Protector by Elizabeth Goddard

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Undercover Protector. This is the second book in the Wilderness, Inc. Series. I love Elizabeth's books, don't you? This book is well written, action packed, and full of adventure. I loved it and I know you will too.

Gemma Rollins is trying to build a tiger sanctuary. Her parents had operated one but until they died in an accident. Her uncle had taken over the care of the tigers until he died in a car accident. Gemma wasn't old enough or capable to run it but now she had a degree and a private investor. She has an inspection coming up soon that she must pass to open. As she returns to the sanctuary her brakes go out on her Jeep; it looks like she's going to go over the mountain edge. Suddenly a man shows up and rescues her.

Undercover Special Agent Grayson Wilde is convinced that Gemma Rollins is involved in a wildlife trafficking ring so he goes to the sanctuary to volunteer there. His first experience is to save Gemma's life. He soon realizes that Gemma is the victim here and unless he figures out what is going on she will be killed.

These two each have issues from there own past that they must overcome to survive. God has a plan for these two even if they can't see it. It's a plan for a hope and a future. He is working things out even when they don't see it. God has a plan for you too. Surrender your heart to Him and watch Him work in your behalf.

Buried Memories by Carol J. Post

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Buried Memories. I really enjoy Carol's work; she writes awesome suspense stories so I'm always glad to receive her books in the mail. This book is a great example of her work. This story is well written,  action packed, and full of twists and turns. I know you are going to love it.

Nicki Jackson returns home after attending a friend's wedding only to find her home has been broken into. As she waits for the police to arrive a man from her past shows up. He is staying with his brother next door to her. She soon learns that someone is out to destroy her, could this have something to do with her past? Could her nightmares be memories instead of just night terrors? Tyler jumps at the chance to protect her. She was left at the alter and wants no part of a relationship but she is drawn to Tyler. She must protect her heart.

Ex-military Tyler Brandt is running from his PTSD. He came to his brother home to help him renovate an inn he has bought recently; he had every intention to leave the minute the job was done. He is shocked to see Nicki living next door. They had been really close years ago. Nicki is in trouble and he is going to do everything he can to protect her and find out who is trying to kill her and why.

Mountain Ambus by Hope White

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Mountain Ambush. This is the sixth book in the Echo Mountain Series. I so enjoy Hope's work; I have loved this series. This book is well written, action packed and full of adventure. I know you are going to love it.

Dr. Kyle Spencer is called for a search and rescue mission. When he arrives he finds the unconscious girl but before he can help her he is attacked and nearly killed. An EMT is hiking in the area and hears his call for help and she comes to his rescue and his patient.

EMT Maddie McBride is out for a hike in the mountains when she finds Dr. Dreamboat on the trail. She ministers to him and helps him care the woman who had called for help. She has always stayed away from the town's most eligible bachelor but after she rescues him she is thrown together with him for a race for her life.

A Family Arrangement by Gabrielle Meyer

My review today is on the Love Inspired Historical,A Family Arrangement. This is the second book in the Little Falls Legacy Series. I really enjoyed this book. I don't think I have ever read any of Gabrielle's books but I did like this one and hope to read more of her work. This book is well written, it will make you laugh and it will make you cry. A great read.

Charlotte Lee comes to Little Falls to rescue her late sister's children from their father, a worthless dreamer. Her father and her fiancee had been like that and she refused to put the boys through that. When she arrives, its worse than she expected but she make an arrangement with her brother-in-law, he must have a church, a preacher, a doctor, a teacher and a school in ten months or she takes the boys back to Iowa. She will care for them until then.

Abram Cooper is determined to make a new town around his saw mill. His wife was helping him until she became sick and died. Now his sister-in-law shows up with a letter from his wife asking for her to care for his sons. He makes a deal with her and begins selling off land to make the town happen.

The Nanny's Texas Christmas by Lee Tobin McCain

My review today is on the Love Inspired, The Nanny's Texas Christmas Family. This is the third book in the continuity series Lone Star Cowboy League. This book is well written and heart warming. I know you will enjoy it. I don't think I have ever read any of Lee's books but I really liked this one.

Lana Alvarez is a teacher. She calls a meeting with the father of one of her troubled students. Logan needed more attention from his father. It seems Logan was acting out so he could be sent to the boys ranch where his father worked. His father promised to talk to Logan, to spend more time with him, and to help with the Christmas party. Lana knew that he worked at the ranch and was very busy as she volunteered there herself.

Flint Rawlings was the foreman of the boys ranch. He was having trouble with his son ever since his mother ran off and left them. The third nanny this year just quit. He had no idea what to do now. Lana just told him that Logan wanted to be bad enough to be sent to the boys ranch, how was he suppose to deal with that. Finally he asked Lana to be Logan's nanny through the holiday break but could he handle getting closer to the beautiful teacher?

Pony Express Christmas Bride by Rhonda Gibson

My review today is on the Love inspired Historical, Pony Express Christmas Bride. This is the third book in the Saddle and Spurs Series. I really enjoyed this book. You don't read many stories about female Pony Express riders. This book was well written, heartwarming, and full of faith. I enjoy Rhonda's work.

Josephine Dooley must escape from her uncle, he has offered her hand in marriage to pay off a gambling debt. The man was old and cruel so she pretended to be a boy and signed up for the Pony Express. She had accepted a mail order bride ad but when she arrived she found her future husband hadn't sent the ad.

Thomas Young managed the Pony Express Station and was a rider himself. His brother worked with him but was gone on rides a lot. His brother decided Thomas needed a wife so he sent in the ad. When she arrived they were both shocked to find out about what his brother had done.

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Classified Christmas Mission. This is the fourth book in the Wrangler's Corner. I love to read Lynette's books they are always awesome. This book is no different, it's well written, full of action, and faith based. I know you will love it.

CIA Agent Amber Starke is undercover as a nanny to her best friend's autistic son. She was gathering information on the boy's father when the man killed his wife in front of the child. Amber took the boy and ran home to a cabin no one would no of where she had passports and money waiting for her so she and the boy could disappear. She hadn't counted of the terrible snow storm when she left California. As she looked for the road that led to the cabin, a car pulled up behind her. A shot rang out and she drove off the edge of the road.

Deputy Lance Goode was on his way to Sheriff Starke's home to watch a ball game. The storm was getting worse every moment.
