My review today is on the Christian Romance Suspense, The Secret Bride. This is The First Children Book One. I was asked to read it but my review is my own. The story is well written, full of suspense and faith. I know you will love it.
Hannah has become an intern in the conservative party. She is basically treated like a serf in a royal family. They are all told to stay away from the future Vice President's son and the future President's daughter. Hannah is drawn to the son but tries to fight that attraction but he didn't seem to get that memo. Then there is the problem of the feeling of being watched. She is here for one thing only to help get laws on the books for abusive violence to women. Her sister had almost died and the man got off. A man of middle east descent tells her she must say yes to the President's son or her sister will be hurt. Later a text to tell her she must marry him or her sister will die. What could they be after?
Nathaniel Vin McChester III is the Vice President Candidate's son. He's suppose to be engaged to an heiress, a woman he can hardly stand. He is a scientist and has made a major breakthrough and need's his father's financing for his project to get it up and running. It could save the world. So here he is traveling the United States for votes from young women. All he wants is Hannah, he saw her on the college campus and told the campaign that they needed to hire her if they wanted him. Now he needs to figure out how to be with her in secret.
A difficult journey of overcoming men that are trying to destroy the campaign. Can he trust Hannah when he sees guilt in her eyes. What is she doing? Can she trust Nathaniel? He is a man after all. Could he save her sister? God has a plan for these two; a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. A good plan and not for evil. Give Him your life and watch Him rescue you from you mess.
