My review today is on the Christian Romantic Suspense, Identity Theft. I was asked to read this book but the review is my own. This story is well written yet full of twists and turns. Faith is woven throughout the book as a fine tapestry. I know you are going to love it.
Lacy is having a good bye dinner with her boyfriend Kurtis. She feels she must break up with him. The relationship is getting to involved. Lacy is in Witness Protection, she can't get close to anyone. After all Kurtis doesn't even know who she really is. Four years ago she witnessed a murder with her true love. They ended up in an accident and he was killed; now she is in hiding. She tells him she must break up with him. He tells her he bought a ring and wants to marry her. After he leaves she walks to the ice cream shop where she sees a man that looks like Raphael, her lost love. Kurtis and his daughter come to the shop, confused she says she'll marry him, and he drives her home. Raphael is waiting for her when she gets home. Now she is really confused.
Widower Kurtis is a State Trooper. He has figured out that Jo isn't who she says she is. He contacted her foster parents to ask for her hand in marriage. He knows she must be in Witness Protection. He knows she still has feelings for the man she lost. He urges her not to rush in to marriage with him until her heart is whole. Suddenly she tells him she is leaving. She calls to ask him to help her with her car when it breaks down on her trip out of there. When he gets there she's gone and her car has been tampered with. Where is she? Can he save her?
A confusing journey as the two men she cares about both are wanting her to marry them; while her handler is trying to move her again. God has a plan for her; a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. Give Him your heart, make Him Lord, and watch Him move in your life.
