My review today is on the Christian Romance, Hold Me. This is book five in A Chapel Cove Series. I really enjoy Alexa's books and was thrilled to get this one. I haven't read any of the other books in this series but I hope I will get the chance to. This story is well written, heart warming, and full of faith. I know you are going to love it.
Aileen McKensie is divorced with a young son, a dog, and a pet turtle. She has returned to Chapel Cove to be close to family. She started her own pastry shop. She is on her way home when a flash flood stops her car in the middle of the rushing water. She's torn on what she should do. She has her son and his pets to consider. She is rescued by the man she has loved since she was a child. She had broken his heart when she married another. How can she tell him he is the only man she ever loved? Would he believe her if she told him her secret?
Roman Vela gets a call that Aileen is in trouble. He runs to her rescue. He takes her, her son, and his pets to his home. Her home and business are involved in the flood. Can he keep them safe without losing his heart again. He soon realizes he still loves her but can he trust her not to hurt him again?
An awesome journey of forgiveness, trust and love. God has a plan for this little family; a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. A good plan and not for evil. Trust Him to be your Lord and Savior and watch Him work in the storms you are going through. God is so good.
