Temptation in Maverick County by Evelyn Boyett

My review today is on A Western Romance, Temptation in Maverick County. I have never read any of Evelyn's books before. I was sent this book and the words of this review are all my own. I enjoyed this book very much. It's well written, action packed, and full of twists and turns. I'm sure you are going to love it.
Charlie Witt is the son of a cruel man. He keeps his father's picture remind himself never to become like his father. Charlie is known as being a fair and kind man. He keeps to himself and wants to manage his ranch. A good friend of his, a young Indian boy brings a beautiful young woman that had been in an attack on a wagon train. The young Indian boy is killed. The problems of town is forcing his hand.
Lillian Beck is on her way to Ponowood when the wagon train is attacked one night. The men were killed, babies were shot, the women were raped, and all were burned. Lillian hid under a wagon and watch all the horror; she is found by a young Indian boy completely beside herself. He brings her to Charlie. He and his housekeeper help her to heal. She is the only witness of the massacre.
A struggle of good over evil as these two fall in love and hope for a future. Can they save the town with out losing more? God has a plan for these two a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, a good plan and not for evil.
