My review today is on the Romantic Suspense, The Janus Journals. This is an awesome book and so in the range of possibilities. The story is well written, highly researched, and full of suspense. Faith is an intricate part of this story and is woven though it like a fine tapestry. I know you are going to love it.
Victor Chernoff was trained in Russia to become a sleeper spy in the USA. He becomes Eduard Petrenko and begs for asylum in the United States. Now thirty-five years later he is shot in Alexandria, Virginia. A police officer and a lady come to Alisa Petrenko's door, Alisa knows it's about her father. He had acted strange since he received a phone call last night. He had given her a safety deposit key and told her to go to the bank get the items and read them all, then go to his best friend, Tom if anything happened to him. Her life could be in danger. Trust no one else. She rushes to the bank where she finds several journal her father had written. She returns home to pack but before she goes into her home she calls Grady, Tom's son. Little did she know the assassin was inside her house waiting for her.
Grady Jamison was surprised by Alisa's call. He was on his way out of town. He tells her to go directly to Barnes and Noble, go through the store, out the back door, jump in his car, and lay down in the back seat. He tells her not to go in the house. They would drive to Washington.
A horrifying journey across the United States running from a Russian assassin. An emotional rollarcoaster for Allie as she reads her father's journals to find he came to this country to be a spy. Grady is a strong Christian but Allie wants no part of God. But God is the only one who can save them. God has a plan for these two a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. Give Him your heart and watch Him work in your life.
Thanks so much for the review, Glenda! In a data-saturated world, reviews are the best way to spread the word about our books. They also give authors extra benefits on Amazon. Much appreciated!
