A Knight For Kallen by Lauren Linwood

My review today is on the Medieval Romance, A Knight For Kallen. I have never read any of Lauren's books and was kind of leary. I love Medieval stories but so many of them are pornographic. It's really hard to find a clean one. This was clean except for the for the consummation of their marriage and that wasn't graphic. Otherwise I really liked the book. The story line was great and I liked the enjoyed the characters. I know you are going to love this one.
Lord Crispin de Mangeron is called to the convent by the new Mother Superior to inform him he has a niece. His father had hid his sister in the convent when she had been raped and was with child from their evil neighbor. Crispin wants the girl to leave with him but Mother Superior says that he must give her time to tell the girl. Because his wife is with child and due soon he sends his brother-in-law to return Kallen to their keep. The only man he can trust.
Sir Griffith has lost his wife and child any and all hope for his life. Heartbroken he agrees to go for Kallen. He never dreamed a woman could be so beautiful. She is so young and innocent he must protect her. He is drawn to her and her unusual powers. He soon learns her evil father has heard of her existence and is determined to capture her for her powers. Griffith vows to marry her and keep her secret and her safe.
Kallen has grown up in the convent. Her mother more of a child to play with than a mother. Her mother had died years age and one of the nun cared for her. Now that nun is the new Mother Superior. Kallen is thrilled to find she has a family but is concerned her family will not accept her for her secret. Griffith soon takes possession of her heart but their are many problems awaiting these two.
A treacherous Journey of two souls; one broken and one just coming alive in the new world. God has a plan for these two, a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you two, give Him your heart and watch Him rewrite your story.
