My review today is on the Historical Western Romance, The Blacksmith's Heart. This is a delightful story. It's well written, humorous and heart warming. I was sent this book to read, the words of this review are mine and mine alone. I know you are going to love it.
Blacksmith Peter Johnson is a widower. His wife died ten years ago during child birth. He has raised his son disabled alone and has allowed his son to become his whole world. Suddenly a young woman shows up at his blacksmith shop. Her brother is the new doctor in town but as they traveled to their new home the axle on their wagon broke and her brother was injured. She left her sister to care for him and she road on ahead to find them help. Peter is fascinated by the feisty woman as he drives her back to her family. Somehow she makes his heart beat a little faster. How can he help this little family and not lose his heart? He has his hands full with a ten year old son who is unable to walk but is willing to try anything.
Malinda Wilson is accompanying her brother and her sister to this new town. She is looking forward to becoming a teacher and independent. She has no desire to marry and have children. No not for her. No man is going to tell her what to do. She just wants to be free.
A journey to find their other half. Neither of these two want to marry and have a family. They have their own plan but God has a plan of his own plans, plans for a hope and a future. God has a plan for for you too. Give Him your heart and watch Him work in your life.
