My review today is on the third book in the Western Brides of Tombstone Series, Outlaw in Petticoats. I really enjoy Samantha's books. This is a short story and I know you will enjoy it. It is well written, humorous, and heartwarming. I loved her characters especially Sheriff Prewitt.
Kate Barnet is a young recently widowed outlaw with a bounty on her head. She moves to Tombstone to start over. She been on the trail for several months and is exhausted and tired of all the lying and stealing. She has promised God that she won't do either again. The lady at the general store offers her a job with room and board. The first person she meets at the store is the good looking sheriff.
Sheriff Westley Prewitt finds himself drawn to the new young woman. He never planed to marry but is now not so sure but when Kate past comes to town and threatens the beauty, he finds he must give her aid. Even knowing she has a price on her head he sets out to rescues her.
A journey of heartbroken young woman who has lost all hope and a man that God brings into her life to rescue her. God always has a plan for us. If you will just trust Him you will find your dreams do come true, after all God gives you those dreams in the first place.
