Mountain Hideaway by Christy Barritt

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Mountain Hideaway. I always enjoy Christy's books and this one didn't disappoint. This book is well written, action packed and full of adventure. I like how she weaves her faith into all of the story. This book is an excellent example of Christy's work. I know you will want to get your own copy.

Tessa Jones is on the run. She discovered her ex-boyfriend was smuggling blueprints for weapons. She tried to get evidence to prove it before she ran but it was lost in a vent. She found a mountain cabin where she felt safe but a private detective finds her and leads the criminals right to her doorstep. She must run again.

Trent McCabe, ex-military, ex-detective, and now turned private detective was hired by Theresa's mother to find her but when he arrived so did the enemy. She was suppose to be on the run from massive credit card debts, a lost job, and a broken engagement but now he knows something is off. Men surround them and just keep coming. Can he keep them safe as men come at them from all directions? How does he fight this attraction that overwhelms him?

A journey of chaos trying to find a way out. These two people must learn to trust God and each other if they are going to survive. Our lives might not be filled with gun shots and terrorist but we do have difficult challenges. We too must learn to trust God to see us through those difficulties and come out victorious on the other side. God never promised our lives would be easy but He did promise he would always be with us and He always makes a way. He has a plan for each of you, just give Him control and trust Him to see you through. His plan is far greater than anything we ever dreamed of.
