Treacherous Intent by Camy Tang

Happy New Year, who knew we would ever see the year 2015. As a child it seemed unattainable, something out of science fiction, but now here we are. I never really thought I'd live to be this old either, most of my family didn't live past their middle sixties. Well praise God I found in Genesis that a man(or woman) was to live to be 120 years so that makes me only middle aged. I find that I still have much to do so I will believe God's Word and keep on doing His work.

My book review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Treacherous Intent. I find Camy's books fascinating and this one is excellent. I don't know if you're familiar with her work but she is one of the best in the suspense genre. This book is well written, fast paced, and full of action. You won't be able to put it down. Her characters will touch your heart.

Elisabeth Aday was once a victim of abuse, now she has become a private detective and has set up a woman's shelter. Her job is to protect those who are in life threatening situations. She is determined to never be a victim again. She helps a young woman but the girl soon runs away.

Liam O'Neill is wounded veteran fighting a war with PTSD. After his discharge from the military he has become a skip tracer, helping find people who didn't want to be found or helping them disappear. He unknowingly leads a gang of drug dealers to the shelter's door. After an attack Elisabeth and Liam join forces and go to Sonoma to investigate the death of the girl's father hoping to find proof to put these killers in jail and keep the woman safe but instead they find themselves caught up in a war between tow rival gangs.

A journey of survival as the couple try to find answers, but a great love story as they are drawn together. Elisabeth may be the only one who can save Liam from the horrors he deals with each and every day. A great read. You can purchase this book at the address below.
