Hazardous Homecoming by Dana Mentink

My book review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Hazardous Homecoming. This is the first book in the Wings of Danger Series. This book is awesome and I look forward to the next book in the series. I love Dana's work, her books are always well written and full of action. She always weaves her faith throughout her stories. This book was one of my favorites, my only complaint about the book is I couldn't put the thing down.

Ruby Hudson lives on the Hudson Raptor Sanctuary. Her family cares for the birds and is trying to bring the sanctuary back to what it once was. On a walk to survey the birds, she discovered a necklace in an abandoned eagles nest. It had once belonged to her best friend that disappeared decades ago. Could this new evidence help them to find little Alice? Ruby is attacked by the girls mother, who takes the necklace but when she has a stroke the necklace can't be found.

Cooper Stokes has returned home to help his brother. Peter had been accused of the kidnapping but there wasn't enough evidence to hold him but Peter's life had been ruined by Ruby's testimony. Peter swore he was sober now so Cooper came to make sure he stayed that way.

Cooper is dragged into Ruby's life and the danger surrounding her. He has to keep her safe but also clear his brothers name. Ruby and Cooper are investigating together but for different purposes. Together they take a long painful journey to find and reveal the kidnapper. This is a must read you can purchase the book at the address below.
