My book review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Silver Lake Secrets. I really enjoy Alison's books. This one is well written, fast paced, and hard to put down. You will love her characters. I like the way she slips her faith in throughout the story. This is a must read.
Nicole Braun has returned to the small town of her teenage years, to take care of her grandmother. Her mother was a drug user and chose drugs over her young daughter so her grandmother raised her. Unfortunately Nicole left own under a cloud of suspicion and with a secret, her son was born just a few months later. Now she fears her son's family will recognize him and try to take him from her.
Chief of Police Brett Eggert is called to an accident scene and finds his deceased brother's girl friend's car submerged in the lake. He is horrified at the thought that Nicole could be at the bottom of the lake. His family had treated her very badly when his brother was killed. Nicole was easy to blame and his family had run her out of town. Brett had heard she was back to care for her grandmother but when he goes to her grandmother's home he finds her very much alive and with a son that looks just like his brother.
This story is a journey betrayal, forgiveness, and restoration as they try to find who is trying to destroy Nicole. I know you will love it. You may purchase it at the address below, have a great week end.
