My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Border Breach. This is Darlene's first book with LIS. I enjoyed this book very much and look forward to her next one. This story is well written, action packed and full of faith. I know you are going to love it.
Canada Border Officer Kaylin Poirier is serving at a border booth when a white florist van comes to the booth. Their paperwork seemed okay but the men refused to make eye contact then a Detector Dog Service Officer and his K-9 walk by and the K-9 alerts to the van. Shots are fired as she calls for back up. The van gets through and takes off. A Ontario Provincial Police Officer shows up. "Oh no not him again" She sucked in a breath. She had worked with him six months before and it didn't go well.
Canadian Police Constable Hudson Steeves is on a task force to stop the drug Doda from coming into the country. He isn't thrilled to see the officer he is to interview is Kaylin. He won't be sucker punched again by a woman. He and Kaylin examine the area and find shell casings. He calls his boss for an update only to find Kaylin is assigned to his task force.
A journey into the drug world as they are both targets. Can they find the leaders of the drug smugglers without losing their lives? God has a plan for these two; a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. A good plan and not for evil. Give Him your heart and watch Him move in your life. His plan for you will be much greater than the plan you have for yourself.
