My review today is on the Science Fiction Thriller, The Alchemist's Portal. I have never read any of Kim's work before but was asked to read this one. My review is my own words and thoughts. It's well written and thought provoking. I think you will really enjoy it.
Somewhere in Prussia in the seventeenth century a shooting star landed on the earth. They found several small rocks and a large rock in the center of the crater. Everyone who touched the rocks soon died. Afraid of the rocks it was put in a lead coffin and then later turned into a door they believed would take them to other worlds. They consecrated as a gate to heaven and then the door started vibrating and a bright light flashed and when they sent people to investigate they were all gone except for shadows.
In the twenty first century the door was sighted on the moon. The people who found it disappeared leaving only shadows. In Washington DC Magister Wilhelmina Grand has been given her first assignment. She is to become a part of a three man team investigating supernatural or paranormal occurrences. She joins Magister Levin Kraal, Director of World Mission Department, Special Branch and Magister Michael Clemens a android. They are trained how to handle demons and aliens.
