Safe House Under Fire by Elisabeth Rees

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Safe House Under Fire. I always enjoy Elisabeth's books and this is an excellent example of her work. This story is well written, action packed and full of drama. Faith is interwoven into the book like a fine tapestry. I know you are going to love this one.
Lilly Olsen is a single mother of a temperamental teenage girl. She works as a bank teller. She and her daughter are on their way to school and work when her boss calls and tells her to stay home; she is in danger. Her daughter is trying to tell her someone is following them and is getting closer as she talks on the phone; an FBI Agent interrupts the call and tells her he is on his way just keep going forward, he will help them. What's going on? A few minutes ago they were having a normal argument about her daughters black lipstick now they are in danger.
FBI Agent David McQueen is trying to apprehend a vicious conman. No one has ever seen his face and lived. Lilly Olsen has been working with him and now it's time for the killer to take care of the loose ends. Lilly and her daughter are in serious danger. David has a problem with Lilly's daughter. She reminds him of his daughter at that age. His daughter rebelled and was badly injured and will never be the same. Lilly gets defensive when ever he tries to control her daughter. Neither of them seem to understand the danger they are in.
A terrifying journey as a mad man is determined to take them all out. God has a plan for these three, a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, a good plan and not for evil. Give Him your heart and watch Him turn your life around.
