Homefront Holiday Hero by Jodie Bailey

My book review today is one the Love Inspired Suspense book, Holiday Defenders. This book is a novella so I have taken it story by story. Today I'm reviewing the story Homefront Holiday Hero. Jodie writes amazing books and I loved this story. The story is well written, full of action, and great characters. I know you will love this story. I love the way she weaves faith in through the story and how only God can heal our hearts and make us whole again.

Kelly Walters is the daughter of a military official. Her mother couldn't handle the deployments of her father so she ran off and left them. Kelly's mission now is to help other military families so they don't have to go through what she went through. She works at the Fort Campbell Family Resource Center and is preparing for the Christmas party for the children. When she and one of her assistants leaves late one night someone starts shooting at them. She's tackled and shoved out of the way by Tyler but is wounded. When the car comes back to finish the job all thought of the attack being random are gone. Someone is trying to kill her.

U.S. Army Major Tyler Rainey is helping behind the scenes at the community's annual holiday toy give away. He was sent here to recuperate from a reconstructive knee. Long ago her had made up his mind that relationships and the military didn't work so he must keep his heart safe as he tries to protect the beautiful Kelly.

These two heartbroken people are drawn together as they fight to stay alive and find who is trying to kill Kelly. An awesome journey of forgetting the past and opening your heart to the plans of God. You will love the story, you may purchase the book at the address below.
