Caught in the Crosshairs by Elizabeth Rees

My book review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Caught in the Crosshairs. This is the first book I've read of Elizabeth's but I have to tell you I loved her work. This is well written, action packed, and full of intrigue. I enjoyed her characters and the way she wove her faith into the action.

Sargent Cara Hanson is an elite sniper, the best anyone had seen. Her boss recommended her for a top secret mission. Cara had spent her life trying to prove her worth to her dead father, the Army, and to her commanding officer. The secret mission goes tragically wrong and the team is forced to hide in a remote cabin in the wilderness.

Captain Dean McGovern doesn't want a female sniper. After a dysfunctional childhood, he's all about protecting females. He doesn't know how to change and Cara wasn't about to take that. (It was her job to protect Dean.) When the mission goes south, Dean moves his team into hiding.

They are tracked down and begin to receive notes, are fired upon, and must run for their lives. As they fight to survive they are drawn to each other and to God. A great journey of trust, restoration, and forgiveness. You will love it. Now God bless you and have a great weekend.
