Mountain Rescue by Hope White

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Mountain Rescue. This book is the first book in the Echo Mountain Series. I enjoy Hope's books and I know you will love this one, it's awesome. This book is well written, you'll love the characters, and it's action packed, what's not to love? Not only that, she weaves her faith into the book like a tapestry.

Quinn Donovan is a entrepreneur and a search and rescue volunteer. A once broken man he keeps aloof and refuses to care about people, especially women. He rescues a young couple but the husband dies begging him to care for his wife. Quinn takes her back to his home and gives her a job and a new life. Now a year later, he receives word that she is in trouble on the mountain, he drops everything to save the woman that has somehow gotten through his barriers.

Wilhelma "Billie" Bronson goes up the Cascade Mountain to find closure on her husband's death a year ago. She hears a snap and turns to find a hiker. The man tells her he knew her husband and her husband had left something that belonged to him worth a lot of money. He tries to grab her and in the struggle Billie falls down the mountain. Thank God she brought her personal locator beacon. Someone would know she was in trouble. Was she going to die this close to the place her husband did?

This is the start of their journey as they learn of her late husband's guilt and betrayal. The couple are forced into a struggle for survival while trying to protect their hearts. An awesome story of forgiveness,
