Day before yesterday I had fasted all day. I wasn't sure why but I obeyed the voice of the Lord. That night I had a call from my best friend, she was under attack. She has had a rough year, she lost her father and several members of her family, her brother and sister had managed to steal most of her inheritance, her job was good but one woman did everything in her power to cause my friend grief, she had gone from a sixty thousand a year job to a twenty, she lives in a tiny little box of any apartment and is still having trouble making ends meet, she was taken ill this last winter and now ally the bills have come in and people are threatening to sue her, and now someone in our church had broke her heart. You are not to be attacked in your church and yet it happens all the time. Have you been in this place? You just want to give up. She wanted to pack up her car and move to where her daughter lived, but she had no finances. I was able to go over to her home and minister to her, because of my state of fast I really felt the presence of God. He was there to heal her heart and give her strength.
My scripture today is James 1:2-3; "My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing." When you are going through tests, trials, and tribulations it is hard to see how any good could come from it. We tend to pray for God to stop the attacks but what we need to be praying for is strength and endurance. I'm not saying that you don't use Spiritual Warfare, you do. You need to bind the devil and pray protection over yourself, but you also need to see that through these trials you will be made pure and holy.
God is good and His mercy endures for ever. He walks through the valley of death with us. He doesn't carry us through but He is right there leading us through the darkness. We will come out the other side a better person.
My friend sent me an email while she was at work yesterday to let me know she was doing good and she thanked me for being there for her. God is so good. How are you doing this day? Do you need God to wrap His arms around you and tell you how much He loves you? He is here to do that. I would love to pray with you.

He comes to Steal
If you follow my blog you know that last weekend we had a Miracle Healing Seminar. We had a large crowd each and every night and the reports of healings and miracles keep coming in. I received a healing myself. it was a true time of blessing.
I don't know where you all stand spiritually but many times times when you have a time of great blessing, satan come immediately and tries to steal that blessing from you. I have had to fight this last week to keep my own blessing but I am healed and so is my daughter.
We went to church early yesterday. (Kellie is on the worship team and has to practice, I go so I can sit in the nursery and pray for the service and the families of our church) The church was locked up tight and there was no sign of our pastors. We sat and waited, Cyndy came(she operates the sound board) and waited with us. Our worship leader came and unlocked the doors.
Our wonderful Pastor Janet's mother was in ICU and wasn't expected to live. They had been called Thursday, she wasn't expected to make it through the night. How like the devil is that? The weekend had been so dynamic, Wednesday night had been awesome and then they are hit. How predictable.
Pat Evers had a pacemaker put in last year. I September she had problems but the doctors went in and took care of the problem. She had been doing well. Thursday when they called the pastors, her whole body had shut down, none of her organs were working. they called all of her family in.
Sunday they announced that all of her organs were functioning except her liver and they had no doubt her liver would start functioning soon. She was doing much better. God is so good all the time. Sometimes you just have to stand and fight after a major victory. Praise God!

Another Step Forward
I finished another step forward yesterday. I have received the critiques for my book Hidden Memories. Yesterday I finished rewriting my first chapter. I really like the changes, it helped a lot. My only problem now is that all the critiques I have had have been on my first chapter. Now I need to figure out what to do with the other twenty-two chapters.
My critiques said I had talent and a gift from God. I have been studying dialogue so hopefully that will help me. I have been discouraged not knowing where to go after I finished the rewrite of the first chapter. I had been so happy with it after my last rewrite but the judges still found many problems. I really need to find a critique group but I don't know any other writers around here.
I tend to get frustrated because I have all these stories running through my head. I can't sit down and just pour them out because I have to keep going over the stories I all ready have written. Did you Know
This morning I asked God what I should write about. My answer was; "ask them did you know?" I am not sure where we are going with this exactly but God wants you to know He is involved in your life.
Did you know that God knew you before He made the world? Did you know that He had you on His mind when He sent Jesus into this world to die for your sins? Did you know that Jesus would have come and died if it had been for you alone? Did you know that when you accept Jesus into your heart that you receive The BLESSING of God? Did you know that The BLESSING is the same blessing that God gave Adam, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joesph, and Moses? It hasn't change! It is the same blessing today. God wants to bring the Garden of Eden into your life. He doesn't want you in a job you hate. He doesn't want you to struggle financially in this world's economy. He doesn't want you so sick and dying you can't even leave you home. He doesn't want you to live in fear and loneliness. What He does want is for you to be His child. He wants to walk with you in the cool of the evening and talk about your day and about His. He wants to be your family. He wants to hold you when you are hurting. He wants to laugh with you when you are happy. He wants to dance with you when you are full of joy. That is what God is really all about. That is what He wanted when He created Adam and He never changes. It is what he wants today.
God is so good that He just sits back and waits for you to chose to come to Him. Many people will never come and that breaks His heart, but still He waits. He whispers sweet words of love in our hearts but most of us don't listen. Did you know Almighty God wants to be with you? How awesome is that. Don't make Him wait any longer. Talk to Him right now!

God is So Good
This week end we had our Miracle Healing Seminar. It was soooo good. I just can't even describe how wonderful the presence of God was in the church. People from all over Central Nebraska came, some drove as much as ninety miles one way. Cancer was healed, deaf ears were opened, and backs were healed. It was awesome!
Pastor Pam Blevens was so anointed her hands burned you as she laid them on us. God's presence filled the place. I was so blessed. We sang a song, the words said I am so blessed I have to give it away, that is how I felt. I was so blessed I needed to find someone to bless back.
Sunday morning I came early (my daughter is on the worship team) as I usually do. I went in the nursery where I usually go to pray for the service. Pastor Pam was already sitting there in the dark praying so I joined her and God showed up. He shared some thing with me that just blew me away. I had been praying for something for years and God told me it was on the way. He shared some things about my future and what He had planned for me. I felt like I was going to explode I was so excited. Thank God we had worship first because I couldn't have sat down if my life depended on it. I am stilled thrilled. Sometime you go to meetings like that and you go home and you come down from the high. You almost feel disappointed but I feel just as blessed today as I did yesterday. Pastor Mark said I glowed and I know I still do. God is truly sooo good.
So let me share my blessing with you. God bless you now and forever more. (I mean it)

Miracle Healing Seminar
Tonight is the beginning of our Miracle Healing Seminar. We have been fasting and praying for these meetings for months. Pastor Pam Blevens from the Word of Life Church in St. Charles, Missouri is our speaker. The meetings are today at 7:00 pm, tomorrow at 10:00 am and at 7:00 pm, and Sunday at 10:00 am.
Pastor Pam Blevens has spoken at our church before and she is extremely anointed of God. We are so blessed to have her speaking. I know we will see great and mighty things happen this weekend. It is my desire that all of you come to hear her speak and receive your healing. God wants all of His people to be healed and whole. He wants us out there ministering to the masses. God is so good.

The Writer's View Two
I have been struggling with my craft. I have not had any formal training so sometimes I am totally out of my element. This group have helped me so much. A year ago I didn't know that there was a POV, a passive voice, or show and don't tell. Thanks to these authors that take the time to help people like me, I have learned a great deal. They have two new questions each week and then all the members send there answers and examples. I enjoy it immensely. So I want to thank all of the members.
This weeks question was; "What book has helped you the most with your writing?" I now have a three page list of books that will help me grow and improve. Then they asked about websites, so now I have a list of those to help me. God is so good! He gives us what we need when we need it. I just give Him praise. I am so blessed. He is so good to me.
Thank you all for following me in my journey. God told me Sunday that He would open doors for me, where there seemed to be no doors, and no man would be able to shut them. Like I said God is so good to me. God bless you. I know there are people who think when I write God bless you, they misunderstand and think I do it as a ritual. When I bless you, then God blesses me, it is like love the more you give it away the more you get and I love to be blessed so God bless you.
