My review today is on the Medieval Romance, A Life Redeemed. This is book two in the series, Secrets of the Queens. I love good clean Medieval stories. I'm a big fan of Olivia's books and this one is awesome. It's well-written, full of drama, and heart-warming. I know you are going to love it.
Queen Elizabeth orders Audrey Hayes to travel to Scotland to become a companion to the mother of a Scottish Laird. She is to spy on the household and discover if they are in support of the Protestant beliefs or are aligned to the Catholic religion? If she refuses her family will be put into prison. What she finds is a young boy who is unloved by his father. Can she be a companion and still help the boy?
Laird Gavin Armstrong is raising a child that is not his son. He is raising the boy in the same way his father raised him. His wife threw herself over the castle walls after the birth of his second child. The man has closed off his heart and wants nothing to do with the beautiful new companion. A woman he soon finds he can't trust. He decides to send the child back to his true father.
A strange journey that is full of twists and turns. God has a plan for these two broken souls; a good plan for hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, a plan for peace and not for destruction. Give Him your heart and watch Him move in your life.
