My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Killer Harvest. Tanya is a fairly new author for LIS but she is becoming one of my favorites. This story is well written, action packed and full of adventure. She has also interwoven faith throughout the book as in a fine tapestry. I know you are going to love it.
Biologist Sassa Nilsson went to an international conference with her mentor and boss. They are at the airport and ready to head for home. She is anxious to get home to her baby. The conference had ended up a nightmare and she just wanted to hold her baby girl. Sam stops and tells her he isn't going straight home but is meeting a border patrol agent. This doesn't make sense as he had been told his wife is ill. A man walks up and stabs him while Sassa is watching. Sam gives her his ID bracelet and then dies. She is taken by the FBI to be interrogated.
Border Patrol Agent Jared De Luca is frustrated; why didn't his supervisors listen more closely to the doctor, why did Jared have to take leave, and why was there a struggle over jurisdiction before anyone took action. Sam had assured him that Sassa didn't know anything about the environmental terrorists, the Black Knights or the virus they wanted. He must find a way to protect her as these men think she has the virus that can kill the all the plant life in the valley. She and the baby are in incredible danger.
A journey of two broken souls trying to stay one step ahead of a mad man out to destroy the world. God has a plan for these two, a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. A good plan and not for evil. Give Him your heart and watch Him work in your life.
