My review today is on the Regency Romance, Dancing With a Lady. This book was sent to to read, I was not required to review it but it is a great read so I will review it. This story is well written and entertaining. I know you will enjoy it.
Lady Victoria Turner comes from a rich family. Her sisters have made good marriages and now it is time for her to do so too. She has no desire to marry or become a mother. Her passion is to write. She would like to just be left alone to write her stories. She must attend a masquerade ball. Dressed and ready to attend she overhears her parents talking about what to do with her if she didn't meet someone tonight. They have decided to get her a little cottage in the country. Victoria is upset when she first hears about the embarrassment she has caused, then she realizes that is just what she wants. She goes to the ball and hides in a corner but a man sees her across the room, their eyes meet, and he comes straight to her. She is drawn to the man but doesn't want to give up her dream of the country.
Thomas Jones is a wealthy American. He has come to England to take over family property but he wants a new start. He's unaware of the rules of society but he is determined to marry the Lady Victoria. All he has to do is to convince her. She seems to want no part of him. Rejection is unfamiliar to him. Can he win her over?
A journey of two souls; each dealing with secrets of their own. Although attracted to each other can they get over their own agendas and find a way to come together. God has a plan for these two, a good plan and not for evil. God has a plan for you too. Give Him control over your life and watch Him move in your life.
