Love's Ransom by Alexa Verde

My review today is on the Christian Romance, Love's Ransom. This is A First Street Church Romance Kindle Worlds Novella. I really enjoy Alexa's work. This is different, as it is a romance and not a suspense but I did really enjoy it. It's well written and heart warming, I know you are going to love it. It shows some of the problems people with diabetes deal with.
Businessman Andrey Sergeyev moves to Sweet Grove to care for his nephew after the death of his brother. He only planned to be here a short time to help his nephew adjust. He has an important business to run back home. Ilya, his nephew is a diabetic and Andrey has no idea how to deal with it. They had been playing basketball all afternoon and then suddenly Ilya becomes ill. Andrey called 911 but while he was waiting a neighbor came to the door bringing sugar free cookies. She tells him she is a paramedic and offers to help. The beauty is a life saver. She even rides to the hospital with them. Andrey wants no part of a relationship after his fiancee broke their engagement because of Ilya. He must fight his attraction to her.
Paramedic Melinda Mcalister suffers from diabetes herself so she has been drawn to Ilya. She had been close to him and his dad. She is worried about him now that he is to live with a man who had no idea how to care for him. He father had many complication due to his diabetes and eventually died from the disease. She knows how difficult it is to live with the a loved one that is ill. She isn't interested in a relationship after her boyfriend dumped her because of her health issues. She must keep her interest hidden.
A struggle of these three to combat a serious disease, grief over the loss of a loved one, and a growing attraction between them. God has a plan for these three, a good plan and not for evil. God has a plan for you too. God's Word is full of His plans for you, there is healing for those who can believe or He can take your worries and your pain a way and help you deal with it. His plan for you is for a hope and a future. No disease is impossible for Him to deal with.

  2. Hi! Quick question that's completely off topic.
Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly?
My weblog looks weird when viewing from my apple iphone.
I'm trying to find a theme or plugin that might be able to fix
this issue. If you have any suggestions, please share.
    Thanks!
