A Taste of Danger by Alexa Verde

My review today is on the Christian Multicultural Romantic Suspense, A Taste of Danger. This is the second book of the Secrets of Rios Azules. This book was sent to me as a complementary book to read. I was not required to review it but you guys really will want to read it. It's and awesome book. I hope to read more of this author. The book is well written, action packed, and full of intrigue. Not only that but has faith interwoven throughout the entire story much like a beautiful tapestry. You are going to love it.
Librarian Soledad Sokolova opens her door to find a gorgeous Private Investigator looking for her father. The only thing is her mother told her that her father was dead. This PI is to meet her father here at her home. Her father shows up a few moments later but also a car full of men with guns. The PI pushes her in the house and fires at the vehicle as they throw her father into it. Soledad grabs her gun and runs out. They have the PI pinned down and he is wounded. She start shooting and they drive off.
