I hope you all had a great Christmas. Mine was awesome but if they keep having four babies a year we are going to have to find a bigger house. I pray each of my followers have a very BLESSED New Year.
My review today is the romantic comedy, Up to date. This is the eighth book in the Better Date than Never Series. I have really enjoyed this series. This book is well written, humorous, and yet it will touch your heart. You are going to love this one.
Ginger took forever to get through college because her parents talked her out of her Art Degree into a business degree. All she had wanted was to decorate but now she was stuck in a job she hates. Her friend has started a foundation for helping others and they are having a fund raiser. She donates a decorating job for the auction. She is secretly horrified that no one will sign up. Her friend lines her up with a blind date. He's a ten, she can't really find anything wrong with him except there is no chemistry. He does talk about his ex, a famous supermodel all the time. All she could think about was a man she met at one of her friends wedding. She fell hard for him but he is an ER doctor just like her father. She watched him struggle with each death and turn to the bottle, she wouldn't live like that. At the fund raiser she finds out he has moved back to town and soon learns he has move up over her apartment and guess who wins her makeover. How can she do this without losing her heart totally.
Greg Shaffer moved back to town because he couldn't get Ginger out of his head. She had refused with him because she didn't do long distance dating. He didn't know he moved in to her building until after the sale. When he wins the makeover he does everything he can to win her heart but she fights him all the way.
A delightful story. I know you are going to enjoy each moment.
I'm so glad you enjoyed Ginger's story! :)
