Amish Brides by Jennifer Beckstrand, Molly Jebber, and Amy Lilliard

My review today is on the third story, A Summer Wedding in Paradise in the novella, Amish Brides. I really enjoyed this story and I'm sure you will too. This story is well written, humorous, and heart warming.

Reba Schmucker is walking quickly to school; she was running late and that was unacceptable for a teacher. A buggy, running out of control is coming up behind her. She hears a man yell, "get out of the way!' Just before she is thrown into the ditch filled with rain water. Soaked, muddy and limping she continues to walk to the school totally humiliated. When she arrives at school she finds that the man that ran her off the road is the new man in the community and is here to repair the school. He"ll be here all day. When he learns she lost her lunch in the ditch he buys pizza for the whole class but when he sees her foot he takes her to the hospital. Her ankle is broken and still she must put up with this man.

Able Weaver has moved to Paradise to get away from a broken engagement. His heart must heal and seeing her each day isn't help him. He bought a horse yesterday and drive it to his new job but the horse panics and ran off at full force. Able didn't realize that he'd forced the woman into the ditch of mud, lost her lunch, and broke her ankle until he hears her tale later. He is determined to make it up to her.

A journey of two hearts torn apart by their past. God has a plan for these two; a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. Surrender your heart and watch God turn your life around. God is so good.
