My review today is on the second book in the Amish Brides Novella. Molly did a great job with this story, Joshua's Bride. I always enjoy Molly's work and I know you are going to love it. This story is well written and heartwarming. The book has now been released and you really need to get your copy.
Madeline Leuman receives a proposal. She is thrilled with the thought of joining this wonderful man in marriage and says yes. There is a problem though; Madeline's sister Catherine had been courting with Joshua's brother Nathaniel when she took off and left Lancaster without a word to anyone. Joshua's parents and his brother were upset and refused to give their blessings thinking Madeline would turn out to be just like her sister. It doesn't help the awkward situation when Catherine returns and drops a new born baby at Madeline's door step and then leaves again. Madeline tells Joshua she must raise this child and cannot go against his parents wishes.
Joshua Stutzman has been in love with Madeline for as long as he can remember. He finally asks his father for her hand and then proposes. He is thrilled when she says yes but his family refuses to acknowledge their engagement and are praying they will break up. Joshua starts building their new home and when things get so out of hand at home he can't bare it, he moves into the unfinished house. He loves the baby girl and is determined to raise her as his own. Then Madeline refuses to marry without his family's blessing.
A journey of two people madly in love but unable to wed because of their brother's and sister's past. God has a plan for these two, a plan for good and not for evil. God has a plan for you too. A good plan and not for evil. He loves you and is waiting for you turn to Him. He will turn your life around if you give Him the chance.
