Someone Old, Someone Nwe, Someone Barrowed, and Someone Blue by Lisa Pendergrass

My review today is on the romance, Someone Old, Someone New, Someone Borrowed, Someone Blue. I have never read any of Lisa's work that I know of, but I loved this book. It made me laugh and then made me cry. I enjoyed every bit of it. I hope to read more of her work.

Kate Ridgeway is being married in just a weeks time. Her best friend Emily is her maid of honor. Emily is also the best friend of the groom and had been the one to introduce them. Lucy is one of her bride's maids, she's a friend to both but because of her break up with Kate's brother she has hired a man to be her date for this week. Rebekah is one of the bride's maid and the grooms sister. She is to leave on a mission trip soon after the wedding. This is the bride's entourage. This story takes you through the week until the wedding.

Caleb Blue is the groom. Kate has put off the wedding for two years so she could have her perfect venue. Caleb just wants things over, the wedding has gotten out of hand. Jacob Ridgeway, Kate's cousin is on of the groomsmen. Max Duncan, the man hired to be Lucy's date is actually the owner of a construction company and is staying with Caleb. Then there is Eric Ridgeway, Kate's brother and Lucy's ex. He comes with his wife and infant child. Not without Kate's ex who also makes an appearance before the wedding. All in all a fun group.

A group of close friends who are to embark on a wedding that should never take place. God has a plan for these friends and he will straighten out the mess they have made of things. God has a plan for you too, just surrender your heart and watch him work in your mess.
