My review today is on the romance, A Christmas Valentine. I really enjoyed this story. It's not like the Christian books I usually read but it is a clean romance. I enjoy Jamie's books and I'm sure you too will enjoy this one. It is well written and full of romance. Since Valentine is so close I thought it would be a good book to review.
Lana Deeling is the producer of a popular television show named Let's Cook. She has everything she ever dreamed of until her wonderful boyfriend dumps her a week or two before Valentine's Day. She is overwhelmed with trying to get everything ready for the week of Valentine's Day. She didn't need this.
She receives word that her ex-husband's father has past away. She feels she must go to the memorial service. She comes up with a plan to swap her apartment with a woman who makes beautiful cards, have her on her show, and set her up with a dream guy.
Sophia Blessing is the owner of a small bookshop, A Little Piece of Heaven. She always dreamed of having her own shop but now it looked like her shop was about to go under. She lives in a quaint cottage in Michigan and runs the shop with her sister. She receives a strange call from a woman n California asking her to come be on her TV show. The woman promises to help her keep her shop open.
This is the journey of two women who have it all but aren't happy. They find that living in the other ones shoes brings them the blessing they have been searching for. I my reviews of Christian books I would now tell how God has a plan for these two and it's much greater than they had dreamed of and it did work out that way although God wasn't mentioned. God has a plan for you too. Just surrender you heart to Him and watch Him work in your life.
