My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Desert Secrets. I really enjoy Lisa's work and this one is a great example of her books. This book is well written, full of adventure, and fast moving. I know you will enjoy it.
Lexie Shannon is an aide worker in Mali. She is abducted because her brother had stolen money from one of the kingpins of the African nation. She has no idea where her brother is but she is now going to be used as bait to find her brother. She is about to die when in comes a man from her past that is here to save his brother-in-law who also has been abducted. He rescues them.
Ex-military pilot Colton Landry is determined to rescue his brother-in-law. His sister doesn't have the money that the abductors want so he makes arrangement with the national army to go in and rescue him. When he arrives he finds a woman there that had caught his eye before. He takes off with the two of them but the plan goes awry and the terrorist shoot down his plane and comes after them. He must lead them across the Sahara Desert; a young woman and his starved, ill brother-in-law. How is he going to keep them safe?
A journey of horrendous trials as they run from these terrorists. God has a plan for these people, a plan much greater than they had even hoped for. God has a plan for you too. Just surrender your heart and watch Him work.
