My review today is on the Love Inspired Historical, Montana Cowboy Daddy. This is the first book in the Big Sky Country Series. I really enjoy Linda's stories of the wild west. This one is well written, heartwarming, and full of faith. You'll laugh and you'll cry. I know you'll love it.
Dawson Marshall is a rancher. He is a widower with a small daughter. His wife died years ago. She had been a city girl that was unable to adapt to the country life. She had been killed in an accident trying to have fun. Dawson wasn't about to go that route again so when he is attracted to the new city girl in town he does everything he can to keep away from her. But his daughter wants to spend every waking hour with her.
Isabella Redfield moves to town with her friends. Isabella is an heiress that has been sought after for her money all of her life. An orphan she lived with an aunt but can't seem to find her place in the world. She just wants to be loved for who she is and not for her money. She's unprepared for Dawson's reaction to her. He wants his daughter to stay away from her like she is someone to fear.
A journey of two souls with a lot of baggage to deal with. The past seems to have both of them tied up. God has a plan for these two, a plan for a hope and for a future. God has a plan for you too and just like this book it will be much greater than you have ever dreamed. Just surrender your heart to Him and watch Him work in your behalf.
