My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Targeted for Murder. This is the first book in the Wilderness, INC. Series. I love Elizabeth's books so I was thrilled to get this one in the mail. This book is well written, fast paced, and full of adventure. You will love this book! I can't wait to get the next episode.
Artist Hadley Mason returns home to find her door ajar. In her dining room she finds her father, he has been shot. He tells her he is CIA agent and someone has a contract out on him. He tells her he has a backpack with everything she needs, to run for her life, and not to trust anyone. He then dies in her arms. She takes the backpack next door to hide it at her friends apartment. As she starts to return she sees a man entering her apartment, she grabs her pack and hails a taxi only to have the driver shot before her eyes. She ends up in a cabin out in the wilderness of Rogue River but the assassin finds her. As she is fighting the killer a man rescues her and the assailant falls over a cliff. Her rescuer wants to help but she can trust no one.
Former Green Beret Cooper Wilde is the head of Wilderness Inc. and offers to help her when she is attacked. The killer told Cooper that they would just keep sending assassins after her until she was dead. Cooper is determined to save this beautiful woman. The assassins just keep coming. Cooper has failed before will he be able to keep Hadley alive?
