God is So Good

This week end we had our Miracle Healing Seminar. It was soooo good. I just can't even describe how wonderful the presence of God was in the church. People from all over Central Nebraska came, some drove as much as ninety miles one way. Cancer was healed, deaf ears were opened, and backs were healed. It was awesome!

Pastor Pam Blevens was so anointed her hands burned you as she laid them on us. God's presence filled the place. I was so blessed. We sang a song, the words said I am so blessed I have to give it away, that is how I felt. I was so blessed I needed to find someone to bless back.

Sunday morning I came early (my daughter is on the worship team) as I usually do. I went in the nursery where I usually go to pray for the service. Pastor Pam was already sitting there in the dark praying so I joined her and God showed up. He shared some thing with me that just blew me away. I had been praying for something for years and God told me it was on the way. He shared some things about my future and what He had planned for me. I felt like I was going to explode I was so excited. Thank God we had worship first because I couldn't have sat down if my life depended on it. I am stilled thrilled. Sometime you go to meetings like that and you go home and you come down from the high. You almost feel disappointed but I feel just as blessed today as I did yesterday. Pastor Mark said I glowed and I know I still do. God is truly sooo good.
So let me share my blessing with you. God bless you now and forever more. (I mean it)

Miracle Healing Seminar

Tonight is the beginning of our Miracle Healing Seminar. We have been fasting and praying for these meetings for months. Pastor Pam Blevens from the Word of Life Church in St. Charles, Missouri is our speaker. The meetings are today at 7:00 pm, tomorrow at 10:00 am and at 7:00 pm, and Sunday at 10:00 am.

Pastor Pam Blevens has spoken at our church before and she is extremely anointed of God. We are so blessed to have her speaking. I know we will see great and mighty things happen this weekend. It is my desire that all of you come to hear her speak and receive your healing. God wants all of His people to be healed and whole. He wants us out there ministering to the masses. God is so good.

God bless you all. If you can't come to our meetings you can see or hear the meetings on our website I pray you check it out. I love you guys.

The Writer's View Two

I have been struggling with my craft. I have not had any formal training so sometimes I am totally out of my element. This group have helped me so much. A year ago I didn't know that there was a POV, a passive voice, or show and don't tell. Thanks to these authors that take the time to help people like me, I have learned a great deal. They have two new questions each week and then all the members send there answers and examples. I enjoy it immensely. So I want to thank all of the members.

This weeks question was; "What book has helped you the most with your writing?"  I now have a three page list of books that will help me grow and improve. Then they asked about websites, so now I have a list of those to help me. God is so good! He gives us what we need when we need it. I just give Him praise. I am so blessed. He is so good to me.

Thank you all for following me in my journey. God told me Sunday that He would open doors for me, where there seemed to be no doors, and no man would be able to shut them. Like I said God is so good to me. God bless you. I know there are people who think when I write God bless you, they misunderstand and think I do it as a ritual. When I bless you, then God blesses me, it is like love the more you give it away the more you get and I love to be blessed so God bless you.

Genesis Critique

Well the critiques are back and obviously I didn't make the semi-finalist list but I did get a much better score. So now we rewrite again. I have learned so much from the critiques and they did tell me I have a God given talent, I just need to work on my craft part. Last year at this time I didn't know what a POV was or what showing and not telling was, so I have come a long way.

I thank God that He is showing me what I need to know and how to get where He wants me to go. Yesterday I had a word from the Lord saying "He will open doors for me. He will open doors that I am not even aware of."
Isn't that awesome! I was thrilled!

I am reading a book on dialogue and have learned a lot. I'm excited to get back to my manuscript. There just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day. I am reading Kenneth Copeland's book on The Blessing. It has so much in it that you can't just breeze through it. It takes time to digest it. I am also reading Dialogue, which is the same way, you just can't skim through it. Then there is the normal housework and my taxi service to my family that all need to be taken to work. Then there has to be time with the Lord and I have to have time to exercise.
I work part time and then there is trying to spend time with the family. (My grandson Cade was here this weekend, such a joy!) How to get to the manuscript. It is an endless circle. Praise God. How do you handle the time crunch? I could use some help in this area.

God Bless you all!

The Blessing

I am reading The Blessing of the Lord by Kenneth Copeland. It is an awesome book and I have learned so much. The main thing that I have learned is that it is God's will for us to live under the Blessing. God created the world to house His family. He made the garden with everything they would ever want or need. He made man to walk with Him and talk to Him and enjoy the garden.

God is still the same today as He was back then. He wants to live with us, walk with us, and to enjoy time with us. He wants to walk with us in the cool of the evening. He wants us to share what we think, want, or need with Him. How awesome is that!

The first thing He said to His new man was the Blessing, the very first thing. That must mean it is important to Him. "The Blessing is the very creative force of God. It created all that we see. We've lost the power of the word blessing, which means 'to empower.' It's God's empowerment, His power that established the universe. He put the same creative power and anointing on Adam and his wife--mankind--who were created in His image, and told the to replenish the earth, be fruitful and dominate it in love. His last work was not the creation but the Blessing of man."

God sat out to restore The Blessing after Adam gave it away. The Bible is filled with The Blessing but now God made it available to us through a covenant. God Blessed Noah and his sons. (Genesis 9:1) God started it all over again. The first thing He said was "Be fruitful and multiply."

Centuries later, when Jesus was crucified and made a curse for us (Galatians 3:13), God made a way for The Blessing of Abraham to come, not only on the natural descendants of Arbaham, but also on the gentiles. Because of Jesus' redemptive work on the cross, we also can walk in The Blessing.

You can see The Blessing at work through the whole Bible. It is what God wants for each of us. Proverbs 10:22 says, "The Blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and He added no sorrow with it,"

Most of the above is taken from Kenneth Copeland's book. I recommend you all read it. It is good to know how much God loves us and wants us to prosper and be in good health. I love you all and when I say God Bless you I mean I want God to open up the window of heaven and pour out The Blessing on each and every one of you.

On my manuscript that went to the GOTCHA Contest, they didn't like my first chapter. I had way to many characters and they couldn't tell who was the antagonist and who was the protagonist. My dialogue was stilted.
It broke my heart because I know who these characters. I know what they should say and I think I need each one. Oh well!

They suggested the book Dialogue by Gloria Kempton. I downloaded it from Amazon. I am only half way through the book but I have really enjoyed it and have learned a lot. I can't wait until I have finished it and can get to work on my manuscript.

I write because God told me to. I have always had stories going through my head. I watch a movie or read a book and think; "that's not how I would have done that" or "Wow! I wish I would be able to write that!" Like the Notebook, I love that ending. My mom had Alzheimer's, I would have loved her story to turn out that way. My dad died with only his thoughts on her. "Who would care for her, love her, and be there for her."
I promised to be there for her. She lived several years after he did, the last few a vegetable.

I have not had any formal teaching. I only write what God has given me. Evidently I some how manage to mess it up by getting in His way but I do know I am anointed and the stories are a gift from God. I give Him praise for using a simple vessel like me.

Jehovah Jireh

I want to talk today about Jehovah Jireh. I have decided to write about the goodness of God eveery time the devil attacks me, so today I am writing about my God the Provider.

Abraham is the first to use God's Name, Jehovah Jireh, my provider. He was just about to sacrifice his son when the angel of the Lord stopped him. God had provided a ram instead of his son. God provides all of our needs. He is good and His mercy endures forever.

Today has been a strange day for me. My routine is to get up and spend my time with God. I have many prayers that I read for my nation, Israel, my family, my church family, ect. Then I plead the blood over my entire household and protection for us and our possessions. I love spending time with the Lord. Today started off all wrong. My son-in-law was up and about and watching TV. It is hard to pray, read the Bible, and spend time with God with the TV going on the Discovery channel. (I don't really have any other place that I can go. Our home is small and a lot of people live here.)

My granddaughter had a dentist appointment so my daughter took her. My son-in-law went outside so I went back to my prayer time. My daughter called and she had a flat tire. Could I come get here and take them to the dentist. So I took the other car (We have four but only two are working right now) and went to get them. It was hooked up to the battery charger(we are having problems with either the battery or the alternator) I stopped at the doctors to make an appointment and when I went back out the car wouldn't start. I had to walk home. Praise God.

To make a long story short, a friend helped me. We now have every one home and all the cars and everything is taken care of. When I finally got to my devotional it said: 'Blessed (happy, fortunate and to be envied) is the man who reverently and worshipfully fears [the Lord] at all times [regardless of circumstances], but he who hardens his heart will fall into calamity. Proverbs 28:14.

God is good and His mercy endures forever. He is my provider and I will praise Him no matter what.
I am blessed and highly favored.

Jehovah Rapha

Today I want to talk about another of God's names, Jehovah Rapha, the Lord is my Healer. Yesterday and today I have been struggling with a couple of health issues. So I am going to talk about how God is my Healer. My body is healed and made whole. It was healed two thousand years ago when Jesus took those stripes on His back for me. Every tiny drop of blood that flowed from His body was enough to heal me from the top of my head to the tips of my toes.

Did any of you watch 'The Passion' by Mel Gibson. It was on The Trinity Broadcasting Network several time last year and has been on a couple of times this year. Mel Gibson got in a lot of trouble for making the movie so graphic and parts of the movie was removed because it was so upsetting to the public but the movie did not begin to show what really happened that day. Isaiah says that even His own mother would be unable to recognize Him as human, He was so badly beaten. He was punched in the face repeatedly by the priests. His beard was plucked out, (ripped out, can you imagine) The violence knew no bonds. The crown of thorns was shoved down on His head, driven the long spikes into His skull. He was beaten with the cat of nine tails, thirty-nine times. What they don't say is the cat of nine tails was a multiple of long tails. On each of the tails was a piece of bone, glass, or metal hook that would tear out big chunks of His flesh. It wrapped around His whole body and tore off flesh from His chest, arms, neck, and legs.

When I watched the movie last year; I heard God telling me(not in a loud voice but a knowing in my heart) I did this for you. I went through all of that for you. Don't ask if it is God's will to heal. He wanted His people healed so badly that He took all that for me and for you. IT IS GOD'S WILL FOR ALL TO BE HEALED!
It is like a slap in the face when we say God gave me this sickness or disease to teach me something. He gave everything He had so that we might be healed. Watch the movie and see what He willingly did for you.
Isaiah says by 'His stripes we are healed,' Peter say 'by His stripes we were healed'. I walk in divine heath, sometimes I have to fight (like today) but the devil is not going to put any sickness or disease on me. I am blessed beyond measure.

Human Trafficking

My last book is on human trafficking. I sent it into a contest last fall. I had numerous mistakes on it.(since I am self taught and have much to learn) All of the judges talked about how scary the subject is. Today on the 700 Club they went into the subject. They are trying to make people aware of the tragedy that is consuming our country. There are an estimated twenty-seven million kids that are victims in the world today. Only one out of a hundred thousand of these traffickers will be prosecuted.

It is no longer a shocking situation that is taking place in foreign countries but it has come to the United States in  an epidemic that is beyond belief. It is a seven billion dollar industry in the US right now. It is second only to the drug industry. Over three hundred thousand boys and girls are taken into sex trafficking each year. The average age for the boys is nine to thirteen, the average for girls is ten to fourteen. These are just babies and these traffickers are in our backyard. They have found that small town Mid-America is easy picking.

My book is my effort to try to make people more aware of this horrendous practice. There are several ministries that are trying to reach these kids and give them a way out. Most of these kids see no way out and know they will not be accepted by their families and peers. I have little money to help in this process but I hope my book will help. When I cried out to God about the horror these kids faced, I felt He told me to right about it. I am now in the process of rewriting it and hopefully I can get it out there.

We need to step up and help theses children.
