My review today is on the Romantic Suspense, Deadly Target. This is book two in the Rocky Mountain Courage Series. I’m a big fan of Elizabeth’s work. This book is amazing. It’s well written, action-packed, and full of suspense. I know you are going to love it.
Forensic Psychologist Dr.Erin Larsen is paddling her canoe with a friend of hers when suddenly the relaxing day comes to an end. A motorboat comes straight at her and her friend. Unable to get away in time her friend's canoe is cut in half and she is thrown into the water. Erin is able to save her friend. As she is talking to the police she gets a call from her ex-boyfriend saying her mother has tried to commit suicide. When she arrives back at her old home at Bid Rapids Montana she finds her mother, her ex-boyfriend, and her life are in danger. What is happening?
Detective Nathan Campbel answered the call for Erin's mother. He stays beside her until she is out of danger. He and Erin had broken up years ago, it was hard to tell her the news. Nathan goes with his estranged father to a place they had always fished. His father tells him he is working on a cold case but Nathan can't tell anyone. Lives are at stake. Before he can tell him about the case, his father is shot in the head right in front of his eyes. What is going on?
A terrifying journey of a cold case that involves both of them. How can they find answers when his father can't speak and people are trying to kill them? God has a plan for these two, a good plan for hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, a plan for peace and not for destruction even in this time of turmoil. Give Him your heart and watch Him move in your life.
