My review today is on the Historical Romance, Honor in the Mountain Refuge. This is book six in the series Call of the Rockies. I so enjoy Mistie's stories. I'm not sure where she gets her storylines but I love her work. This book is well-written, action-packed, and will touch your heart.
Telipe is about to give birth. Her husband had died, she had been kidnapped, rescued, and brought back to her brother's home. She knows he wants to marry her off but she doesn't want to marry the brave that he has chosen. As she is picking Chokecherries she sees the brave that kept her alive and well when she was kidnapped. He's a Blackfoot brave, an enemy to her people but she cares for him.
Chogan has been thrown out of his tribe and has come to make sure Telipe is well. He brings her meat other items she might need. He is caught by her tribe and held. Telipe's friends take him under their wings and help the couple.
A journey of love and survival. God has a plan for these two and her children. A good plan for hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, a plan for peace and not for destruction, even in this time of turmoil. Give Him your heart and watch Him move in your life.
