My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Hiding His Holiday Witness. This is book four in the series Justice Seekers. I'm a big fan of Laura's work so I'm always thrilled to receive one of her books in the mail. This one is exciting; it's well-written, action-packed, and full of suspense. You can't beat that in my book. I know you are going to love it.
Robyn Lowry is in a small town in Colorado. She is with the witness protection and is awaiting to testify in the upcoming trial. Unable to sleep she hears a scratching sound. A sound she's never heard before. She grabs a sweatshirt and her shoes. The marshal assigned to her isn't in the living room nor is he out in his car. She hears glass breaking. She ducks behind the car and sees blood dripping from the trunk. She runs. At the church, she calls her other marshal but before she can tell him where she is and what is going on she falls down the basement steps.
Marshal Slade Brooks storms out of his room calling the other marshal. It goes straight to voice mail. Where is he? Where is Robyn? He calls his boss for backup. He sees the church. Robyn had insisted on going to church. She might hide there. At the back of the church, he dials her phone and can hear it ring inside the church. Breaking down the door he finds her on the basement floor. "Where am I? Who are you?" She asked. She has lost her memory with only five days until the trial.
A terrifying journey to stay ahead of the cold-blooded killer, keep her alive, and help her regain her memory. God has a plan for these two, a good plan for hope and a future. God has a good plan for you too. A plan for peace and not for destruction even in this time of turmoil. Give Him your heart and watch Him move in your life.
