My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Yukon Justice. This is book seven in the series Alaska K-9 Unit. I'm a big fan of Dana's and I'm always thrilled to get a copy of one of her books in the mail. I have really enjoyed this series also; so this was a great thrill to get. It's well-written, action-packed, and full of suspense. I know you are going to love it.
Katie Kapowski is the assistant to the Alaska K-9 Unit Colonel Lorenza Gallo. She has returned home to help her Aunt Addie. The ranch is comprised of rescued reindeer but three had been stolen. One was returned but two were still missing. Now she has found out that an uncle she never knew about is out to harm the ranch and her aunt. She's talking to one of the K-9 officers when she hears her aunt scream. Her aunt is shot and falls into the water. Katie jumps in after her. Her uncle stands on the dock with a gun pointed at her. Brayden showed up and the man runs.
Alaska State Trooper Brayden Ford and his K-9 partner show up just as a man tries to shoot Katie. Ella is a water rescue dog. She jumps in and finds Addie. Brayden gives CPR and her aunt revives. Brayden and Katie have some personal issues. Can they work together? Can he keep her safe?
A journey through a ranch under siege. Can they find the missing reindeer before Katie's uncle destroys the ranch, his sister, and his niece? God has a plan for these two broken souls, a plan for hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. A good plan for peace and not for destruction. Give Him your heart and watch Him move in your life even in the midst of the chaos we're living in.
