My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Covert Amish Investigation. This is book eleven in the series Amish Country Justice. I so enjoy Dana's books; not only does she write awesome Amish stories but her suspense stories are great. This is well-written, action-packed, and full of suspense. I know you are going to love it.
Police Officer Kate Bontrager and her partner are sent undercover to Sutter Springs. A young woman that was in witness protection has disappeared. Kate, having been brought up in the Amish community knew the place well. Kate had lived there until a man had raped her and she had run. How could she go back? When they arrived at the home the missing woman had stayed, a bomb had been placed at the door and her partner is gravely injured. Now she must rely on the man she once planned to marry.
Abram Burkholder worked with his father and brother at the family paint business. Abram had never gotten over the loss of the woman he loved so he remained single. She had left without a word and broke his heart. His bishop calls him in and asks him to help the police find the woman that has disappeared. He agrees only to find Kate as the officer in charge. Can they straighten things out?
A horrifying journey to find the missing woman and stay a step ahead of a cold-blooded killer. God has a plan for these two, a good plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, a plan for peace and not for destruction. Give Him your heart and watch Him move in your life, even in this time of turmoil.
