My review is on the Western Romance, Pioneer Ardor. This is book seven in the O'Rourke Family Saga. I've been looking forward to this book. It didn't disappoint. It's well-written and heart-warming. I know you are going to love this one.
Lucien Bergeron O'Rourke is the son of Mary Bergeron and her second husband. When Mary was widowed her husband's brother took over the abuse of the family. Later as her first husband finds her he takes her and her two boys home with him and raises the boys as his own. Lucien loved Seamus but when his uncle came back this last summer and kidnapped his half-sister, Maggie, he begins to feel like he no longer belongs with the O'Rourkes. He's in love with his half-brother's nanny Samantha. He has nothing to offer her and believes his half-brother Niall would be a better husband for her. He also is afraid that he might abuse her or any children they might think. A future is out of the question.
Samantha has her own problems. She is convinced she killed her own baby. She is alone and unloved but the O'Rourke's have more or less adopted her. Can she marry Niall just to get a family? Lucien is the one she loves but he doesn't seem to even like her anymore.
A heartwarming journey of two broken hearts searching only for love. God has a plan for these two, a good plan for hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, a plan for peace and not for destruction even in this time of turmoil. Give Him your heart and watch Him move in your life.
