My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Exposing a Killer. Laurie is a fairly new author with LIS but she is definitely a great addition. This story is well-written, action-packed, and full of faith. I know you will agree with me and enjoy her latest book.
Private Investigator Megan O'Clare was investigating a woman with a serious back injury or so she told the insurance company but here she was dancing with a lover. As she videoed the dance she saw then quarrel and the man kills her. Someone grabbed her shoulder and she fell out of the tree. The man told her to run and then the killer began to shoot at them. How had her rival ended up by her side?
Private Investigator Jack Luskie thought his chances with the gunman might be better than with Megan, Her boss had told Jack about the Cahill case. He was investigating the woman for an embezzling case. He didn't need to end up smashed against a telephone pole but would with the way Megan was driving. When they heard sirens Megan wanted to go back. That was unacceptable right now.
A horrific journey that had become personal. Can the two of them forget their rivalry and work together long enough to survive? God has a plan for these two, a good plan for hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, a plan for peace and not for destruction even in this time of chaos.
